"you trust me?", he asked incredulously.
"if i said i did, would you believe me?"
"no.", he said instantly.
"then i won't say it.", i said with a grin. "i'll show you."

belle's pov!
i have been reading all night after dinner. chaos has continued wandering around my house after, and well, i haven't seen him since.
i finished reading and glanced at the time and saw it was 3 a.m.
suddenly i heard a scuffling noise coming from my door. smiling to myself, i got up slowly, and opened the door to see a small ball of fur looking up at me expectantly.
"hey you, can't sleep too, huh?", i said as he circled my feet making me stifle a giggle.
i was ticklish and somehow chaos' fur was so tickle-y. he almost looked like he was enjoying this.
"come on, we should sleep.", i said softly, crawling into bed.
i looked at chaos' face and gave him a side smile, "you're welcome to join, if that's what you want."
that night, we laid cuddled together. chaos kept on nuzzling his head into my hand as he laid on top of my stomach and i smiled softly before slowly stroking his fur.
i yawned a bit and felt myself dozing off. "goodnight chaos, i best catch up on as much sleep as i can.", i said, my voice feeling so far away as i felt a small purr of satisfaction.
my hand stopped on top of his fur, resting on top of him.
chaos, or rather loki adjusted slowly feeling a small warming feeling bloom inside of him, before letting sleep come to him as well.
