Percy

I don't know how exactly I'm going to sum this entire week up, but it all started when Susan Willams got kidnapped by Prometheus. I could've cared less about her, as I still remembered the side-eyeing she kept giving me back at the party. But Oliver, being her boyfriend, immediately jumped to the rescue. He went delusional trying to find her, destroying everything and everyone who was in his path. But Prometheus knew who he was, which meant he knows his friends and family were all in risk of getting in danger.

When Oliver found Susan, she was decent shape. But he decided that since Susan got kidnapped, I could get kidnapped too. All because of how close I am to Oliver and now that I'm a part of the Team Arrow, I am considered a liability. He believes Prometheus will try to exploit his weaknesses and target his friends and family. He just doesn't want me getting hurt in the process.

Without even doing so as asking me, he bought a one-way train ticket to New York for me. Today. When he told me the news, I couldn't help but lash out at him. I thought it was unfair how after all I've done to help in finding Prometheus, they're sending me home. I thought I was a vital part to the team, but I guess nobody else thought the same way.

It took a lot of convincing and fake promises for me to willingly go on the train, but even then, I was very reluctant. Oliver had said that he'd let me come back when he deems the city safe. But I think he forgets that I have the ability to control water, and I could probably take down Prometheus one-on-one if the situation is right.

I still haven't told him or anyone else about my heritage yet. I wasn't exactly sure how they'd react to Greek gods being real, but I didn't think that piece of information would help track down Prometheus, even though he stole his name from a true Greek god. I was hoping to do it right before I left, but it hasn't really been working out so far. I mean, I'm currently in the car going to the station with everyone next to me, but they're all talking about a lot of random things. I half-expected Oliver to not come because, this past day, he's been spending every minute of every day coddling over his girlfriend. But he did come, and I'm glad (I'm never admitting that out loud).

But the upside to me going back home is that I'll finally be able to spend some quality time with Annabeth, my mom, and all my camp friends. I've been so distracting here in Star City that I haven't been communicating much with anyone back in New York, and I feel bad just thinking about how worried they must be for me. I made a promise to myself to spend some more quality time with my everyone.

As we got closer to the station, Rene, Oliver, And Felicity's conversation had nearly halted to a stop. It was as if they knew this might be the last time they'll see me in a long time. I wasn't ready to say goodbye. I looked out the window the entire car ride to avoid getting into a conversation with one of my friends, because I was afraid if I did, I would've started crying right then and there.

I had also said goodbye to a loopy still-on-drugs Curtis, but all he did was giggle and say bye before falling back to sleep. I said goodbye to Dig as well. Even though we never did get along well this entire time, I couldn't help but give my respect to him after everything he's done to help this team. I know from Felicity's stories that he was the first person Oliver had recruited to be on Team Arrow, because he was very skilled, or because he was Oliver's bodyguard and was always following Oliver around, I'm not sure, but I never got around to ask.

But one thing that somewhat shocked me is that I've never actually seen Oliver drive before. It's always one of his workers that drive for him place to place. I wasn't even sure if he even could drive, so you can imagine my disbelief when he snatched his car keys off the valet stand, and walked over to his large, black SUV. Deep down, I wanted to see one of Oliver's more luxurious cars. He never mentioned that he had any, but he was a billionaire, so of course he had to own a Tesla or three.

When we finally got to the station, I grabbed my backpack from the trunk and looked at everything with mourning eyes. I didn't want this to be some sappy goodbye. Just one and done.

Rene just patted me on the back while saying "See you soon, Hoss."

Felicity gave a big hug, and tussled my hair. She whispered in my ear, "Keep in touch, okay? And keep safe."

Once she released me of the hug after a long minute, Oliver gave me a thin smile and hugged me as well, which definitely surprised me. He patted my back.

"Thanks, kid, for everything." Neither of us let go of the hug until Felicity had to remind me that my train was going to leave any minute now. I waved goodbye to everyone before I went to the gates and scanned my card. They waved at me with smiles plastered on their faces. Even Rene. I don't think I've ever seen him smile this wide. Or even smile in general.

I returned the smile back and turned around, letting the crowd push me away.

"See you soon," I whispered to the air.

Sorry for the rushness. I really wanted to hurry things up a lot and I don't think you guys would've liked the whole "Susan getting kidnapped" thing. But I'm not done yet, you'll see.
