Kavya's pov
I was sleeping soundly I heard my room's door open as slowly as it could. The I felt movement on bed and knew they were my little munchkins. So I acted as if I was sleeping soundly as I continued my acting I heard them talk.
"Rooh dheere chal yrr chup kar"(Rooh stay silent and move slowly)
"Manu tu chup kar mamma ne hume bua ko uthane bheja hai"(Manu you stay quiet mom sent us to wake bua )
" Haa par thoda sa maza karne de na phele thoda sa please" (yes I know but we can enjoy a little bit before she is awake)
I was sure tha manu was showing puppy dog eyes to rooh but I was too damn sure that rooh won't buldge so I let them continue and I pretended to sleep. "Please na rooh maan jaa aisa na kar yrr mai tera chota veer han karn de na yrr"(please Rooh I am your younger brother you can do this for me) "ok fine but agar kuch hua toh mai saara bl bl kya khete hai usse... Haa blame tere par daalugi"(but if something happens I will put all blame on you) "wuhuu" and was like issne kab party badal li but I how can I forget yeh manu ki twin hai toh obviously party badle gi. (Yo I forgot that they both are twins so will look for each other)
I felt coldness on my feet and neck and then I realised they are rubbing ice over me. So finding an opportunity I grab them both and start to tickle them. The were laughing so badly ha ha ha
"Hehehehe bua stopppp... Hehehehe bua stopppp" " so whose plan it was to wake me up up like this huh" "rooohhhhhh""manuuuuu" "ok fine I get it dono ka tha just say my bua is the best and I will stop" "nooooooooo"
But I continued "bua you win you are THE BESTTT" "that's like my munchkins"
When I looked at my room's door I found my entire family standing there and looking at is with all the love and care in their eyes and their lips curved into small smiles😀😉.
Then I rushed towards my father and hugged him tight "I missed you" I whispered and a tear rolled down my eyes and when he said "I am proud of you" I felt my life is accomplished that feeling when you parents are proud of you and they say it out loud it feels oddly satisfying. Then bhai kept his hand on my head and said " aa gaya mera sher kitna time laga diya tujhe kitna miss kiya maine"(you came my lioness but you took so much time to return and i missed you) " bhai you and miss me mai koi sapna dekh rhi hu kya"(brother you and miss me am I dreaming) I said while laughing and hugging him " in reality bhai I missed you too" " dekha I knew sirf tu hi miss karegi mujhe maine nhi kiya mai toh mazak kar rha tha mujhe entertain karne ke liye mere munchkins hai mere pass" (see I knew only you will be the one missing me an I was joking I have my munchkins to entertain me) and everyone broke into fits of laughter. It seemed like my life is back to normal atleast for some time and I can live without having a fear to not seeing my family for one last time.😀😀♥️
I was sitting with bhabhi in my room and listening to my music and painting suddenly the earpods were take away and when looked up I saw bhabhi starring at me and I raised my eyebrow to ask her what happened then she shrugged but on consistent asking she gave in.
"Kavu are you happy?"
"Yes"
"Look in my eyes and say"
"Bhabhi I was scared that I won't return the last mission was life threatening and I felt I was my life was over I won't be able to see maa papa bhai you my munchkins I just love you all so much but I don't know how long I would be able to survive it" I told her everything which was going inside me.
"What do YOU want to do now?"
"I was thinking of taking an early retirement from the post of major general if I won't be getting a desk job or job at training center. Bhabhi I am tired of this constant fear and just want to live peacefully now I am done with it though it is my passion but you guys are my priority for my dreams I can't leave you guys I can't miss the important events of my family like when bhai got married I was in Siachen on posting and didn't het leave then when my little munchkins were born I was not there at that time too maa papa miss me a lot heck even I miss you guys too but I am now done with this. So this what I am planning."
Mayank's pov
It was Monday morning and I was in my cabin sitting and doing my barged in and let me make it clear guys no one I mean it no one dares to enter like this I my cabin except my devil on disguise bestfriends Ahaan Mendiratta Ryan Malhotra Naman Arora and Surya Singh.
Out of all of them most sensible one is Surya, the goofiest Ryan, fun-loving Ahaan and flirty Naman.
" Why the hell his highnesses barged in my office cabin all of a sudden?"
"Oh we were just missing you yrr so thought why not make you aware of our presence in your life?"
Said by the great Ryan Malhotra
"Well as you can see I am busy with New York project so will deal with your shits later so now get lost and on Friday I am meeting you guys at prive"
" Fine we are just moving because you have just promised to meet you" Ahaan said warningly.
So now let's just get over with this shitty week.
