Kavya's pov

My sangeet was really beautiful and full of life and enjoyment. Now today is my mehandi ceremony and everyone has decided that both the bride and groom will have a common function so that everyone can enjoy to their fullest.

The function will start at 5 in the evening and right now it's 1 and I had my lunch and now I am sitting with the beauticians so that they can get me ready for Today's event.

I wore a simple pink and yellow-green coloured dress it was in such a manner that it will not spoil my Mehandi and I will be really comfortable in that. I wore the flower jewelry because is light in weight.
My hair was half tied in sleek bun and now here I am ready for Today's night.

Mayank's pov

Today is our Mehandi and both the families have decided to have a common function to have a great celebration.

So here I am getting ready for the same. I am wearing a chocolate brown kurta pajama with dark brown jacket which has golden embroidery on it. After getting ready I gave myself one last glance and moved my hands in my hair and here I am ready for today's night.

We reached the venue by 5:30 and I could hear music from the venue. As we entered we went to to Kavya's family to meet them. I took their blessings and me, brother and bhai were talking, but I was getting impatient to go and meet my girl.

"Well bhai I am going to meet Kavya so I'll talk to you later." I said and was going to leave when bhaiya stopped me saying.
"Hosla rakh prawa haje unhu Mehandi lagdi payi hai tu aida kar ki tu bhi shagun di Mehandi lagwa le ustohn baad tu jaake kavya nu mil layi" he said with a smirk playing on his lips. ( Have patience brother she is getting her hena done and you also get your done then you can meet Kavya)
But I was not gonna leave it like this so let's just say I said yes to both the brothers but I discreetly went towards Kavya.

There she was sitting with the Mehandi artist. Here lower arms were filled Mehandi and now the work on hands was going to get started.

I went behind her and whispered in her ear.

"You are looking ravishing today!' and kissed her earlobe.

She shivered and turned to look behind her. Her cheeks were red due to blush.

"Well finally someone decided to meet me." She said
"What would I have done? When my brother and your brother were not leaving me." I said

"But I must say you cleaned well!" She praised

"When your fiancee is so beautiful then one needs to keep their standards high." I said smugly

Then songs started to play in the background. I was then taken to stage while the artist completed their work on her hands then feet.
