Kavya's pov

Today we all girls decided to have a girl's day out. We all decide to go out mall and salon and pamper ourselves because life happened (internally sighing).
Well back to topic girls arrived at about 11 at my home and we guys went for shopping till we drop. I am so so much tired that I can't even move but these girls are not stopping at all. It's not like I don't like to shop but these friends of mine anr shopper holics so it becomes difficult to shop with them. But but but... I am only tolerating this because they have promised me food and spa treatments. You know I love food. I am a great foodie for Street food so they blackmailed me into coming for shopping for Street food. You guys must be thinking I would be having diet and all to maintain my self but you see I work out alot. And eat till my heart satisfies so no worries about weight or maintenance shit. Uggh I hate to diet, why to leave food when you can exercise and burn it up.

So after a very hectic day and relaxing spa I reached my home. My safe place.

With an eventful dinner we all were sitting in hall discussing random topics. My niece and nephew were sleeping in theri room and we all adults downstairs.

Suddenly papa said something which was really shocking to all of us except maa.
"I have found a guy for Kavya"
Everyone became utterly silent. The silence was so thick that it can be cut through knife.
"But why so suddenly papa she is just 24!" Exclaimed my brother
"Hnji papa itni kya jaldi hai kavu ki shadi ki she is very young right now!" Bhabhi said.(yes dad what is the need kavu is very young right now!)

"We are not forcing her to get married tomorrow, I just want her to meet him and his family." Maa said
I was utterly silent during the entire conversation.
"Beta tu kuch bol tujhe bhi pura hak hai bolne ka!!" Papa exasperated.
(Kiddo you can also say something you have complete right to say in this matter)
"Papa I know someday I have to get married, there is nothing like too early, too late or right time it's just the correct moment. And secondly neither do I love someone with nor am I looking for anyone. Lastly papa I trust you and maa completely and I know you will choose the best for me. And bhai don't you worry and get into that over protective brother mode you know me very well I can Handel everyone." I explained everyone and winked my eye towards my brother while saying the last part.

"Bacha the family we are talking about is a very old friend of your father more or less like they are bestfriends since diapers and you Gursimran you don't have to worry about her in that home as they all will treat her like a princess and her husband will treat her like his own Queen so chill betaji" maa expressed.

"Gurshy maa is correct if the family are friends for too long we need to trust them that they won't take any wrong step toward their daughter so relax atleast we can meet the family and decide!? Right" bhabhi tried to explain to bhai

"Ok fine just decide a date for them to meet and then we will se what will happen" bhai said.

After the conversation I was sitting in my room in my own thoughts how life changed suddenly. When papa came in the room.
"Bacha meri gal Sun, I want you to trust me completely because I want the best for you my child I want you happy and enjoy your life with someone who will love you and cherish you in each and every stage of life. Maine kabhi bhi tere liye galat nhi socha hai na hi sochu ga so trust me enough." He said (kiddo just listen to me i want you to trust me completely because I want the best for you my child I want you happy and enjoy your life with someone who will love you and cherish you in each and every stage of life. I have never thought something bad or wrong for you and will never do as well)
" I TRUST YOU PAPA" it seemed as if he just wanted to listen to those words and he physically relaxed.
He kissed my forehead and left the room.

I was staring at rain and a few thoughts floated in mind.

Baarish ko dekh kayi khayal man mein aate hai.
Kabhi vo Khushi ke
Toh kabhi dukh ka karan ban jaate hai
Pyaar ke mausam ka naam bhi diya hai isse
Toh kabhi chai pakode ka saath diya hai isne
Iss baarish ko dekh khud se kayi sawal kar baithti hu
Na jaane kis manzil par laa chodegi Zindagi humari
Or kitni himat ke hum saamna kar paayenge
Kis boond ki kya kismat hai vo na jaane
Kabhi moti banne samunder ki seep mein jaa baithti hai
Toh kabhi kheto seench aati hai
Par agar kuch kismat kharab nikale
Toh sheron ke naalo se guzarti hai
Kabhi kisi ke aasuon ka sahara ban jaati hai
Toh kabhi chote chote bacchon ke khel ka sahara ban jaati hai
Baarish ke naame bhi anke hai
Roop bhi anke hai
Kiske liye baarish kya roop le koi na jaane
Har nazariya kuch alag rang dikata hai
Har nazariya kuch naya mahesoos karata hai
Baarish hai toh kya hua
Ek mausam hai
Par kayi rang dikhata hai
(Seeing the rain, many thoughts come to mind.

Sometimes it becomes the cause of sorrow
The name of the season of love has also been given by this

and sometimes supported tea pakoras
Seeing this rain, I ask myself many questions.
Don't know at which destination our life will leave us

And how much courage can we face
Do not know what is the fate of which drop
Sometimes a pearl becomes a sea oyster

So sometimes the fields are watered
But if some luck turns out to be bad
Toh runs through Sharon's creeks
Sometimes it becomes the support of someone's tears
But sometimes it becomes the play time for kids
Rain has many names as well as feels
It has many faces
And each face has its own feel and its own colour
Each rain makes us feel something new something different
Though a season but teaches along many things in life.)

Na jaane yeh rishte ki baat kya naye rang dikhlaye gi. Naa jaane yeh konsi manzil diklayegi.
Naa jaane yaha ishq ki baarish mein bhigi gi ya dukh ke aasun bahaugi
( I don't know what things this alliance has saved for me in its store. I don't know what is my destiny. I don't even know will this rain bring love for me or make me cry while fighting my bitter battles)
With these thoughts I was staring at rain. And thinking about my life..
