Author's pov
Finally the day has arrived when the two souls will officially will be meeting eachother. And will be deciding do the want to spend there life together in future or not. Or what ups and downs they both will face and how I'll they overcome them.
One side Kavya was very anxious because she doesn't know who is the man her family has choosen. And on the other side Mayank was excited for meeting her and find more about her because there was an unknown feeling of protectiveness for her by him and he wants to fulfill every single wish of hers.
Kavya's pov So today is the day I am going to meet the family who can be my in laws so here since morning my home is totally a chaos and let me tell you, everyone has gone crazy in making the preparation and my two little munchkins were also able to keep everyone on toes so now it was my responsibility to keep them in check so that they won't disturb other adults.
Now it around 1p.m. kids were sleeping and bhabhi came to my room with a packet in her hand.
"This is your saree which you need to wear if you need any help then please call me. Ok?" "Ok. Bhabhi!" Then she went away.
Now I got up went to take shower and freshen up. Wore my underskirt and blouse and did my hair and makeup. I kept my hair in a sleek ponytail and did minimal make-up with little foundation, liner and nude lipstick. Then I wore my saree and my accessories and a waist chain. And ta da here I am ready..

After getting ready I heard the door bell and here goes nothing. The guest have arrived and here I am waiting in my room for maa, bhabhi or bhai to come and call me.
After about 10 mins bhabhi came and asked me to come down stairs. "Bacha you look beautiful don't worry everything will be fine" bhabhi assured me.
When I went in the living room all the eyes were on me. There sat two couples, one of my parents age and other of my brother and bhabhi's age with their daughter.
"Sat Sri akal ji" I said joining my hands.(greetings) "Sar sri akal !" And received a few too. Then I was asked to sat next to maa.
"Beta he is Ram Jaisingh my best friend and owner of Jaisingh Enterprises. We are bestfriends since diapers and we want our kids to get married. Then this is his wife Mrs. Kaveri Ram Jaisingh, his eldest son Manav Jaisingh his wife Shweta Jaisingh and their lovely daughter Maira Jaisingh" he told me and I gave them small smiles. But where is one who wants to get hitched to me? This question was in my mind. As if reading my mind aunty said "He has some important business call to attend he will be joining us just in a few minutes, he is just out side, by the before he come tell me about yourself?" "As you all know my name may name is Major General Kavya Singh, saying my name while introducing to anyone it gives me a sense of pride so it's just like that, I work for the Indian Army and along with that whenever I get free time I serve my father's company as a CFO, because finance is my forte." "Well we all very proud of you for the job you do. It requires alot of guts and courage to leave the family for the nation and to die willing." Aunty told me. "By the what are you hobbies?" Shweta bhabhi asked(just found it comfortable to call her bhabhi) "I love to cook, read, paint, and sometimes writing too." As we were talking someone came and started speaking.
