Mayank's pov
Dad asked me to come to terrace because he wanted to have some conversation with me. I don't know why he asked me suddenly for a conversation.
According to him he wants a man to man conversation with me.
"Beta are you sure you want to get married?"
"Yes dad but why did you asked so suddenly?"
"Beta but you said you didn't want to get married, so how come change of mind?"
"Dad I will tell you everything but don't laugh, you see I told you I saw a girl last week in club who fought with some douche bag, she was the same Kavya whom we met today.
I don't know why I had this strange attraction towards her, she never left my mind since the day I saw her. I was just enchanted by her beauty, her aura, her personality and everything I am very much towards her. I don't know what feeling is this but with her everything seems to be fine. And just perfect just like I imagined. I never thought that I will be so much enchanting by someone just with one glance.
I know she can protect herself better than anyone but I want to keep her safe from the entire world's eyes to protect her and what not." I ranted out. And he laughed but soon sobered up
"Beta well I have a confession to make, umm... me and your friends were responsible for your second meet I have asked your friends to spy on you and whenever they find anyone worthy to be your partner so tell me immediately. So I asked them to get information about her and it turned out to be my bestfriend's daughter so then we parents talked and make you meet." He told and I was just starring at him with my jaw touching floor.
Then we heard a loud roar of laughter and found Manav Bhai standing there.
Then he came and said
"Dad you are the best cupid and my dear brother you fell in love with the same girl once more and we are very happy for you that she will be a part of your life and our family. Secondly janab tum pyaar mein pad gaye ho maano ya na maano" and they both snickered.
"But bhai why the hell were you interested in our conversation?"
"Well man to man talk without me is incomplete and it's either I am in front or at back and listen and then speak and did you forget what you did when i got married. Huh you sneaked in and scared the shit out of us I didn't do anything like that so stay silent." He exasperated.
After our talks for some more time we went to our rooms.
I realised that I am falling in love with my soon-to-be wife. And hard and fast. I hope she feels the same too.
