Today was a very hectic day at work. I had back to back meetings from 9a.m.-8p.m. I was so tired that as soon as the last meeting ended I went to home.
I was hoping through some papers from spanish deal which we are making, when mom called me for dinner.
The dinner was pretty much silent because Maira was sleeping.
After the dinner we all were sitting in the hall when dad said something very shocking.
"Meri Mankirat se baat hui thi unki beti ne milne ke liye haa bol diya hai next week mein hum sab jaayenge milne. We just wish that this girl becomes our daughter-in-law." (I have talked with Mankirat and his daughter has said yes to meet you and we will be going there next week) I was stunned after listening this.
Later that night me and bhai were sitting on terrace and talking when he asked me about what I think about getting married.
"Bhai shaadi kisi na kisi din toh karni hai, why not now. And secondly bhai pta nhi kyu aisa lagta hai ki yeh ladki mein kuch toh khaas hai jo baar baar mujhe apni taraf kheech rahi hai. Na mujhe uska naam pta na hi yeh ki vo or uski family kaise hai, par jo bhi hai mujhe dad par pura yakin hai ki jo bhi hoga vo best hoga." (Brother one day or another I have to get married so why not now? And secondly brother I don't know what but I feel like this girl has something special about her that she is attracting me so much towards her. I don't even know her name or family but whatever it is I have complete faith on whatever dad says) "Manu chinta na kar everything will be alright, just go with the flow. May be she is the one who will change your Life."( Manu don't worry everything will alright) With this he went to his room. Now it started to rain and my thoughts were wandering around.
