A/N: saw some tragic(angsty) plot/story ideas and decided i wanted to write a few of them because i thought they would be fun to write and i wanted to try and cry so yeah. also, a short little series i guess?

Adrien had a choice between two lovely girls. One who was the creative daughter of a baker and one who was the kind daughter of a photographer. He'd known the latter the longest, having been photographed by her father and sometimes by her. However, he was growing to really like Marinette.

Both girls shared affections for the blond model. They didn't hold anything against each other, mutually agreeing to accept whoever he chose. Even with their small rivalry, the two girls remained friends.

About a week after the final akuma battle, with Hawkmoth and Mayura defeated, Y/n noticed that Adrien and Marinette had gotten pretty close. Sometimes, they had openly flirted at times as well.

   She couldn't help but feel Adrien was slowly drifting away from her. This gap somehow strengthened their relationship and slowly tore her own apart. It wasn't long before they started dating. Y/n accepted it.

   But now, as she watched her best friend twirl around the jet black-haired woman in her lovely wedding gown, she couldn't help but shed a few tears. Not because of joy for the newlyweds or sadness. Just pity for herself. Because she herself..

   was the wrong point of the love triangle.

also like this was kinda... quick? i wrote this in like........ a day and idk man, not really certain about it, but you guys can be the judge of that i guess. sorry for the long author's notes 😅
