After Rose and her parents were back to America, she fit right in with no casualities.

Even when the tests became more frequent because of the shot and her sudden revival, everything was still quite how it was before she left.

She even managed to convince her father to bring her to Louisiana just to meet with the aunt Zoe of hers, just to deliver the message.

Once she reached one of the many sheds in the property, she told what she heard from the mold.

Her aunt was quite emotional about it, knowing that she was just as deeply saddened at the passing. Ethan had to comfort her somehow but it all ended in good terms.

And, not to mention, Rose finally got used to having another bioweapon in her head.

Although once she reached her home again, Eveline started to insult her and how much affection she got from her parents, but she found out she could physically visit Eveline in her dreams when she wanted.

So, since she dreams about Eveline frequently, the child finally warmed up to her as well.

Although it was still quite the chore, having another person and personality in her head, it was fine all the same.

Once she even asked her uncle again to go to the village again and he agreed but not without her other uncle Leon, and aunt Ada for protection and reports.

And when she went back to the village, she was greeted warmly, unlike when she was first treated by the Dimitrescus.

Cassandra didn't seem to despise her anymore and the other sister was just as playful to her now.

Karl was more accepting of her and Ethan when he came along, but he always managed to find an insult to tell her uncle Leon. Although the man was steeled enough to not budge even with the worst of the insults.

Although when it came to her aunt Ada, well, the woman was really strange. It was as if she knew of the place, yet not so.

She was mysterious, but Rose understood that she was the reporter while Leon was the muscle, in case things go awry.

(Although Rose also remembered that Chris used to always talk bad about Ada. Supposedly he accepted the woman's expertise now.)

Rose was happier than ever now. And, Chris actually let her go frequently, especially if she didn't have classes to go to, like the weekends.

Her parents didn't seem to mind.

Rose still didn't tell her parents about Eveline, but hopefully, once she tells, they wouldn't be mad at her that she would be grounded for life somehow.

Eveline was still as annoying as ever and if she managed to slip up because of the child, she had to lie to whoever she was with about something silly, but believable.

Even if she has to live mostly uncomfortably now, she still couldn't help but admit that she's having fun.

And with Eveline to distract her now, the usual shots and syringes she gets don't hurt as much anymore.

Eveline even explained about everything else no one cared to explain to her in her time inside the village, which she was obviously very happy about, and the only thing other than distraction that made her glad Eveline was around.

Her aunt Claire sometimes also went with her to the village, mostly because she's also heard stories from Chris, and that Leon was around.

Until now Rose was still oblivious to their relationship. Maybe they were friends?

But she didn't need to dwell on that as she was having fun fishing with Slavatore and sometimes helping Donna with making dolls.

She got used to the Beneviento estate's creepy atmosphere, and her uncle Leon always said that it reminded him of a 'Raccoon City.' She didn't know that city existed, though.

The castle was really nice to stay in, for sleep, but she knew the Dimitrescus still drank blood for sustenance and healing so she still kind of kept her guard up.

She was, however, forbidden to go to the dungeons and the wine room. She understood, though.

There were maids around ever so often, but there were still staff around, unlike when she was first caught inside.

And finally, Karl's factory was fun to be in.

Although it was broken and obviously hastily fixed up, it was still pretty nice, to see Karl making tricks with his metal bending powers.

Although Angie, the doll, always made rude side comments about it. Karl didn't seem to care though as he only kicked the doll to wherever as gently as he could to not make Donna angry.

Donna also had those puppet shows. They were cute, and one was even based off of Rose. Rose highly appreciated the cuteness of her own little rag doll.

She also appreciated the ones Donna made, which her based off of her parents.

But the cutest of the puppets were the Lords themselves. Alcina was bigger than all of them, but that was nothing to be surprised about now.

Although the only thing Rose didn't like about the factory is the burning stench.

It was Karl's cigars. Duke was also still there, of course, selling those same cigars to Karl.

Rose didn't like Duke's indifference, but didn't seem to mind it as much as she minded seeing the poor hallucinogen victims of Donna's wandering inside without knowledge.

The doll sure has fun tearing through them, though...

Which was strange. But supposedly, none of the Lords had the freedom to do whatever they wanted because they had someone else holding them in a leash.

Rose couldn't relate no matter how much she also got controlled by the Blue Umbrella.

However, what really made her happy with these encounters, is the fact that it was a certified Happy ending.

Even her uncle Chris agreed to that, which was surprising since he's had so much that died for him, and because of him.

Rose was happy though, like her happy ending.

This may not be the best ending, not the most perfect, but is still the nicet ending she could offer.

She smiled to herself again as she watched them lowering back to the ground of the village.

She was in for another visit to the Lords.

She was glad because no one was lost in her short journey, unlike the last one in her father's journey.

This was the ending, the one full of answers, like she had always wanted since the first chapter.

"This is amazing."

She heard Eveline speak after a long while of silence.

"This is the first time I have ever witnessed the nicest ending."

Facts.

Rose couldn't help but blurt out in her mind.

Eveline was saying the truth. Rose didn't want to end it, but at least it was going to end in the nicest note possible.

She sighed, although gladly, as the doors of the aircraft opened once more for her to step out.

The Lords would sure appreciate another visit, and her parents no longer minded or grounded her.

She even got to make friends with the lycans one time.

She smiles happily as Lady Dimitrescu first greeted her.

This is truly the Happy ending.
