"it's carlos and you bought him a designer shirt. i think he'll like it."
"okay...but what if i freeze?"
"your dress isn't that-"

"i know what you meant." ricky chuckled as him and nini made their way out of the car and towards ashlyn's front door
"are you certain that this is the right dress? maybe the sequins are a bit much? should i have gone with a different color-"
ricky looked at her with raised eyebrows "how many colors-"
"back in autonia i have three different colors of this sort of dress that aunt erica sent me! i keep them hidden in a box though otherwise my mother would probably throw them or give them to the local charities since these clothes aren't 'orderly'" nini said with an eye roll
ricky nodded "you really need these ten months don't you?"
nini sighed "more than anything."
the two chuckled as they stopped at the wooden front door "okay, so i'm going to tell you how this party's going to be-"
"more rules and schedules?" nini groaned, frowning as she folded her arms
ricky gave her a look "no. maybe-not really-" he shook his head "okay, so, usually carlos' parties are huge but since this one's at ash's and it's his birthday, it's just the group. so you don't really have to worry about being nervous."
