✨Talia✨

By the end of the math lesson I had 2 and a half pages full of notes, just for good measure. Sandy had 3 pages, because she drew a not so appropriate picture of Mrs. Spoal on her first page, and was terrified of him discovering it. I handed in my book, my hand had a blister on it from where I was rubbing my pencil.

He grunted a bit and crossed out a word or two here and there but in the end he handed it back and looked very unhappy about not being able to dish out detentions. By the end of it no one had a detention and he was extremely grumpy about it. He made us draw a diagram of it and said anyone who didn't finish it with labels and color would get a detention. What a jerk.

Thankfully the bell saved us all and we rushed to our next period. We had English Literature with a young lady named Ms. Talita. She was of Spanish origin and whenever we would disappoint her she would mutter, "Bobo." I really wished I had taken Spanish by the 13th time she muttered her favourite word.

After half an hour more of 'bobo'ing and reading more chapters of Romeo and Juliet I needed a break. "Ms. Talita? May I please have a bathroom pass?" She sniffed at me and handed me the blue slip and replied stiffly,

"Si, but no longer than 10 minutes." I nodded and was about to go when Sandy grabbed my arm and gave me a worried and stern look. I smiled weakly at her and whispered,

"I promise I won't try anything." She nodded and went back to her book. I walked out of the stuffy room as quick as I could. My brain had Romeo and Juliet overloaded.

As I walked through the halls I turned a corner, about to pass the Therapy room when a certain someone walked out from under the We Can Help You sign. Justin. What was he doing in there? I watched him from behind the corner, he had his hands in his pockets and walked with hi head down. He was obviously unhappy. I thought back to his promise,

"You can bet your ass I'm gonna find out what's going on Watson."

"Well guess what Sherlock, the tables have turned." I murmured as he walked out of my view. Two can play this game. I continued on my way to the toilet and thought back to last night,

Would I really have jumped? Would it have definitely killed me? How long was I up there? Many questions swirled around my head as I entered the bathroom, I splashed some water on my face and made the questions go away. I had to be strong.

I took a deep breath and repeated those words over and over in my head, my new saying for whenever I felt like passing on, I have to be strong. I have to be strong.

I turned to walk out of the bathroom but I just walked straight into a petite girl, playing with her phone, chewing gum, her long blonde hair straightened and I saw her bag in one hand and I knew who she must be before I read the little pin on her school uniform collar.

She was part of the Goss Girls. I felt my anger flare as she looked at me from her ice blue eyes bored but then she saw me properly and smiled really big.

"Are you Taaaaaaaaalia?" Her words had an accent to it and her gum gave off a real weird vibe. I nodded unsure on how to play this. I had met sassy, rude, bitchy, and suck ups but never really met a gossip girl. I acted casual as I asked,

"Why?" She grinned and went back to tapping on her phone,

"Well, it's just that I heard your having trouble at home and I'm always here for you, hon! I'm Tara B.T.W! And me and my group are really, ummm-" She stared at her phone for a second, as a ping alerted her she had a new message, "- Oh no she didn't!" She giggled and replied to the text, I saw a few words she typed: forward, everyone, lolz, byeeeee. Wow. What a bitch.
