"Wait! Waaaaait!" Sam yelled, Sandy and I laughed so hard our stomachs hurt, which wasn't very good seeing as we were still running.

The big bus was driving off with Sam running after it. Chloe was behind us, jogging as fast as she could.

"These shoes were not made for running!" She whined, luckily the bus stopped and it's door opened for us.

We all laughed and slumped into our seats. Chloe fixed up her hair and makeup while the rest of us talked for the 40 minute bus ride.

"Ti Tree Road." The bus driver said in a monotone, we all piled off the bus.

"Thanks for stopping!" Sandy yelled as the bus drove away.

"So where are we going to hand out the flyers?" Chloe asked as we started walking, I looked around and pointed towards the beach.

"We'll hang them on the poles, then in some peoples mailboxes, then we'll put them up near the local high school." I explained, putting a flyer in the nearest person's mailbox.

We continued to put the flyers up on poles and in mailboxes. After 20 houses we got to the cemetery. I slowed my walk to look into it, I peered past all the black, white, and grey stones to a familiar one, near the back. It was covered in chrysanthemums and had a lot of little gifts and cards surrounding it.

"Ooh, should we put some flyers up on the fence?" Chloe suggested, already taping a few flyers to the tall black fence. Sandy walked over to me,

"You okay?" She asked quietly as Sam helped Chloe. I turned away from the only colourful grave to look at my red haired friend. I cleared my throat and whispered back,

"Yeah... I'm fine. Let's keep walking, I wanna get the meeting with my dad over and done with." Sandy nodded her head, she reached out and squeezed my hand quickly before we continued along the street.

Once we got to a local newsagent I pinned up one of the flyers to the notice board. After the supermarkets, another shop, another news agent, and a 7-11 we finally got to the high school.

"Wait- did you go here?" Chloe asked as we walked in through the school gates.

"Yeah..." I murmured, I took in the familiar walls, filled with bitter and sweet memories with Jesse.

"Cool, do you think you're old friends will be here?" Chloe inquired once we got to the office notice board.

"Nah... I lost contact with all of my friends a few months back." I mumbled; it was half of the truth. I had given up being friends with anybody after Jesse's death.

"Oh... well at least now you have us!" Sandy piped up as she swung her arm over my shoulder. I smiled and replied,

"Yeah, you guys are the best." Sam grinned at me, and Sandy gave my shoulder a squeeze.

"Awww you're gonna make me cry! I really am the best aren't I?" Chloe cooed and we started laughing again.

"Oi! What are you kids doing here?" A rough voice yelled, we turned around and saw a security guard standing in the hallway.

"You kids aren't authorized to be here!" He shouted again, he started running towards us.

"Run!" Chloe screamed, we turned and dashed out one of the back doors and down the street. I pulled them down a quiet street and hid behind a bush.

"Why did we run?" Sandy asked, puffed out.

"Cause Chloe said to!" I argued.

"Why'd you tell us to run?" Sam asked.
