✨Talia✨
After a week of discussing which class I was going to drop, what my art class would be doing this term and what I needed to catch up on. Sandy and Sam both wanted to see other pieces of my art when they saw my one on the pin board.
I walked through the halls to the art room with Sandy beside me whining about how she wished she could be doing art instead of home economics.
"Mrs. Petes hates me! I burned my cookies, made my pie crust sloppy and my cupcakes were all salty cos I used salt instead of sugar!" Sandy listed off her...uh... mishaps on her fingers as we walked. I laughed as the home ec room came into view.
"Save me Tally! Don't make me go in there it's like... hell but with more flour and sugar!" She tried to tell me but I just laughed as I hugged her goodbye.
As I continued to the art room I saw Justin walk out of another. I tried to avoid him but before I could duck away he saw me. He grinned and walked over.
"Hey Watson, haven't seen ya in a while, how's the snoopin' going?" He smirked as I continued to walk, he kept up with me easy so I replied to him coolly,
"I wasn't snooping, I was... gathering info. And you haven't seen me cos I've been avoiding you!" I snapped quietly as we walked. He snorted as we continued to walk, I saw my room come into view and I slowed my pace,
"You do art?" Justin obviously noticed, I nodded and was ready to walk away when he whispered in my ear,
"Just another thing I can look up to gather info." I gasped and turned to glare at him but he was already walking the the way. I sighed before joining the class outside the door.
Time for my first art class.
~In Class~
"Okay, so I hope you all have your plans ready for your watercolor painting assessment. For those that have not yet completed it or have questions please come see me." Ms. Slype's voice rang out across the room as we took our seats.
Many people at my table took out a artist pad or a sketch book but a few walked up to Ms. Slype, once there was a decent amount of kids in the line I joined them. A few peered at me weirdly and whispered but quickly got back to work.
Once the person in front of me had left I asked Ms. Slype, "Ms. I started my plan but I am not finished and I don't know what type of art style I'm going to use, so do you think you could help me?" She shuffled a few papers and looked up at me before calling over another girl,
"This is Chloe and she can help you with your art piece and once you've planned you can just come to me so I'll leave the room open for you to come in at breaks." She introduced us. I nodded a hello and she guided me over to her table.
"So, what are you basing your art on this term? I'm doing the elements! I haven't finished planning so guess we can work together! But I don't wanna do that meet up outside of class thing cos... I have goss to catch up on with my friends!" She chirped and rapped her finger nails on the desk.
Oh no. Was this one of the Goss Girls? I made sure all my guards were up as I replied smoothly,
"I'm gonna do it on angels." I felt her blue eyes pierce on me as she asked,
"Why?" I thought about my real reason but knew I couldn't tell her so I improvised,
"Cos they represent peace, love and... friendship. Why do you wanna do the elements?" She sneered at me and replied,
"No need to be so moody about it! I'm doing the elements cause they represent feelings." She took out a sketch pad and started to write with one of the felt tip pens on the table. I pulled out my notebook and pen and started to write too.
