(Tally's outfit!!! ^^^)
✨Talia✨
I slammed my dorm room door open and threw the doors to my dresser open, I grabbed my favourite leggings, sport bra, and jumper in case it got cold. I slipped on my runners as I hopped out the door, I glanced back into the room and saw my cap and grabbed that too. The less people that notice me the better.
I ran down the halls as quickly as I could, Justin hadn't followed me and I intended to keep it that way. When I got to the front door the receptionist was there. Drat. I slid on my cap and pulled my hair into a loose ponytail. I strode out the door casually but she stopped me before I could get out,
"What do you think you are doing? What is your name?" Her voice was tired and I decided to take the easy option,
"I have detention with the gardener. I'll be back in... an hour. Are you okay? You look exhausted." I played the act and dodged the 'name question' easily. She smiled at me and said sleepily,
"It's nothing dear, enjoy your detention." I smiled weirdly at her and ran out the door. Night was falling. This should be easy. I ran along the line of the trees incase anyone saw me, I sprinted into the forest and once my heart rate got up high, I started to jog. I breathed in and out as I tried to figure out what I had just been told.
My head pounded as Justin's voice echoed around my head,
your parents are getting a divorce...
Why would they not tell me? Are they? Or is he trying to get into my head? Shoot, he has gotten in my head. What if they are? Why are they? Was it my fault?
I picked up my pace as the hateful thoughts came in. I just had to think about happy stuff. That's what Sarah said. Happy, happy, happy. I can't believe I'm doing what that lady said. I ran through the forest, I came to a fork in the road. There was a sign that said '7km run' and the other said 'Bush Track'. I didn't think twice before running down the bush track road.
After a while of running I settled back into a jog, Snap. I stopped jogging a whipped around. I watched for a while but saw nothing so I continued.
As I did more thoughts came back into my mind, more bad thoughts...
What if it was my fault. Oh no. No. I don't need to think about that. Not now. I was finally doing fine. I was finally being a bit normal. Damnit.
"Why..." I mutter as my feet pad along the soft forest floor. I look around myself and see the trees have grown thicker and sky had grown a tinge darker. I ran through the trees and finally found an opening. I slowed my run to a walk and settled on a rock and thought for a bit. The wind picked up and I was glad I had brought a jumper.
"Maybe he was just saying it to get under my skin?" I wondered aloud, I smiled at the thought of someone coming out here to see me talking to nothingness. I felt my smile slip as a memory of Jesse zipped in,
"Send Tally to the Maniac Motel! She's crazy!" Jesse cackled and ran around my kitchen, I rolled my eyes at her and said calmly,
"All I did was put the milk in before the cereal." She gasped and started to scream again, I laughed at her and handed her a KitKat. We were grabbing midnight snacks and I only put the milk in before the cereal because it was quieter.
"Mmmm, yummy!" Jesse moaned as she opened the KitKat and took a bite out of it. I fake gasped and started to run around the kitchen myself,
"Lock J, away! She needs to go to Lunatic Loungeroom! Ahhhh!" She giggled and joked,
"Hey, maybe we can share a room at the Lunatic Loungeroom, save money!" We laughed so loudly my mom woke up and scolded us both. Oops.
