"alatus, you need to go inside her dreams," cloud retainer said,

"wouldn't entering a mortal's dream cause shifts within her old timeline?" i asked once more.

"she's lost in her own memories, so shift is bound to happen, you need to wake her up from there."

"as soon as you get there, you'll end up a thousand years back."

"and the only way to that.. is to personally send you there myself." cloud retainer kept explaining as they suddenly flew above.

the orange hues and the soft white clouds suddenly cracked as cloud retainer's wings covered the entirety of the abode.

"alatus."

"don't fall too deep."

was the last thing i heard them say as the abode fell into a pitch black.

"..where am i?" i questioned as i looked around the pitch dark areas.

"(first name)?" i called out to her as i failed to see her when the abode came crashing into place.

"alatus. can you hear me?" a voice rang inside my head despite the darkness i was facing.

"cloud retainer?"

"you are inside her memories now, fear not as your contractee is safe within my borders."

"your next move is, to find her in the mountain of her past."

it was the last i heard of the ringing voice as suddenly the darkness slowly faded away, until i saw the view of qingyun peak.

"..a journey back 2000 years ago."

"but i can't.. i don't remember.." (first name) said as she gripped onto circe's wrists.

circe sighed as he saw her all panicked, he tried to calm her down, but to no avail, she only mouthed, "since when did you know?"

"..that my brother wasn't sick.."

"not too long ago.." he said, "you keep declining to change the contract.. so i thought i'd just find a way to cure your so called disease.."

"i always found it so weird that i couldn't fix whatever he had the moment you called me out." he kept explaining.

"it turns out, he really wasn't sick. he was just cursed."

"..i tried to lift it."

"but i am no god." he said in defeat while clenching his fist.

"as for you.. do you remember what i first told you when we met?" he asked her as she met with his golden eyes, "..you said.. i had a long long life to live."

"and that didn't make sense." circe said, "your expected lifespan runs to a thousand years. more even."

(first name)'s gaze didn't falter as she kept her sight straight over circe, "how could i be blessed while the other is cursed.."

"as i said, your father killed an adeptus.." circe kept explaining, yet (first name) was still confused,

"how did you find that out? how did the other demons know about my father?"

"it just so happens that adeptus your father killed had a demon as their lover."

"the moment the adeptus dispersed from this earthly world, your family was cursed."

"..so my mother was never sick as well.." (first name) finally came to conclusion, "she died from the curse.." she followed and let out a manic laugh and hit circe's chest.

"..then why.. why was i not cursed..?" (first name) questioned as she kept hitting him. all circe could do was stand there, feeling sorry.

"there's something more about you." circe said as he finally stopped (first name)'s hand.

"and you need to remember it. even if we have to force it out."

"force it out? circe i don't understand what you mea—" circe cut off (first name) mid sentence as he enclosed their gap with a kiss.

his lips crashing within hers as (first name) had her eyes wide open.

slowly when he parted, (first name) stared at him for a fraction of a moment, until she completely fell into deep slumber within circe's arms.
