Simon shrugs, seeming so nonchalant, making Harry's heart hurt harder.
"W-why, though?" Harry asks, voice wet. He doesn't understand. Things were pretty perfect yesterday.
Well, to Harry they were. Maybe not so much to Simon.
Simon doesn't answer, only purses his lips in way of apology.
"Is it-" A thought had just hit Harry, and he really doesn't want to believe it. But it makes the most sense in this moment. "Is it, because of JJ?"
When Simon's gaze immediately drops to down, Harry realises that he was spot on.
Which hurts more.
