"What. The fuck. Is that." Ethan's voice from behind him was loud (obnoxiously so) and sudden, shocking Harry where he sat. The way he jumped in fright made Simon laugh from beside him, grinning faux innocently when Harry aimed a pouty look of betrayal at him.
"It's a reindeer!" Harry exclaimed in response as soon as he had calmed down from the brief scare. He sounded slightly offended, perhaps at the prospect of Ethan not being able to decipher what his clay model was.
"Duh," Simon mocked his friend, still grinning, "Don't be so stupid, Ethan."
Instead of continuing the conversation like any other decent, honorable member of society, Ethan merely stuck his middle finger up at the older man.
Eventually, as he huffed and turned around, Ethan grunted, "Wasn't talking to you, Minter."
What an odd interaction.
