Jungkook's pov (continued):
It was past 5am, by the living room window. I was looking at the sky slowly turn brighter, when I heard a gasping sounds coming from her room. I gave Namjoon a quick missed call immediately.
She had woken up from her sleep. It was followed by shifting sounds and foot steps getting nearer.
"WHAT THE F-!?" She covered herself with the blanket she was holding, like a shield and picked a paper weight hurling it, aiming right at my face. I successfully dodged it with one swift movement, resulting in it shattering the glass window behind me to which she herself flinched.
"Stop!" I shouted, and took an unintentional step forward.
"NO. NO. DON'T YOU COME NEAR ME. EVEN THAT LEADER OF YOUR'S IS NOT AROUND TO STOP YOU." She squeaked out in fright.
"He ain't going to stop me everytime- WAIT. YOU STILL REMEMBER-!??" As I said that, Namjoon sneaked in through the un-latched door and covered her eyes without giving her a second to register. He just made her unconscious this time.
She fell back on him.
"SHE STILL REMEMBERS?!" He hollered in frustration, as he ran both his hands through his hair and turning around.
"What are we going to do now?" I asked.
"Should I try the extreme on her?" He returned my question with a question.
"Are you sure? It drains you out completely for over hours." It worried me. I had seen my brother like that, dizzy and half-unconscious, needing support to even drink water back then.
"It's important. I need to try. It worked on Yoongi. It will work on her too." He said.
Almost a year back, he had crashed one of Yoongi's cars. Even though he repaired it within an hour, there was a whole five minute argument after Yoongi saw the car dented from a slight edge. Joon had tried taking those minute of his memory away with everything he had in him. Yoongi couldn't have resisted since he didn't know it was coming so his memory was washed away and no one reminded him of it ever again.
We all are immune to each other's powers, except when it is physical or not resisted.
"Okay. While you do this, I'll ring up Taehyung so he can help me take you back." I said, and lifted her unconscious body from the couch where he laid her, and took her into the room. I laid her on the bed and walked out, to let him do his job with full concentration.
_______
I was disguised as a cab driver this time, waiting right outside her apartment. Listening to everything that was happening inside her house, through the restricted area wireless connection I had fit in her living room.
She was fiddling with her stuff. I was still not sure what was going on, she had not spoken a single word since she woke up, except a 'come on! Oozz out!' probably to the toothpaste.
I heard her fading footsteps and then the door open and shut.
She walked out of the building within a minute and threw a quick glance in the opposite direction for a cab, which apparently was not available, thanks to me and then she turned towards my car. She jogged all her way and I instantly put off the connection which now looked like a radio from the outside.
"NSK! NSK- building!" she wailed on her way into the cab.
NSK? And she was in a hurry. Had she finally forgotten it? Or was she going to try and convince them again?
