"What's on the menu today?" Hoseok asked, making his way into the hall.
"Fried rice with kimchi special!" I called out from the kitchen where Jungkook and Taehyung were helping me cook, while tiny Tannie played around our feet. Being very considerate, they had switched their steak plan a day ahead for me. I had already invited them over for lunch. It felt good to know that I had a family, people who I could go back too.
"That sounds tasty!" Hoseok called back, placing his white coat on a chair and walking towards us. Namjoon, Seokjin and Jimin were watching some comedy show on the television while Yoongi was deep asleep in the bedroom, apparently he had to deliver a car early that morning so he'd pulled of an all nighter.
"Are you done with the rice?" Taehyung peeked around me to ask Jungkook who was on my right.
"Yes almost, pass me a plate." He tossed the rice around once more before turning the gas off. Taehyung and I were in charge of the kimchi, which we were done with too. The other's had promised to make the steak and ramen at night. Hoseok helped us carry all the plates carefully to the table and set them down.
"Come on, over to the table. It's food time." Taehyung went snipping his fingers at the three men who were laughing on the floor with eyes glued on the screen. A very sleepy Yoongi walked out of the room, rubbing his eyes with an expression that he was still comprehending his sleep.
"Thankyou for the food.", "Thankyou for the food!" They called out before we dug in. I had given Tannie ample of treats which he was chewing away, sitting near Taehyung's feet. He's been a great dad to him, just as expected.
"Areum, we won't take any excuses for dinner tonight! You have to come okay?!" Namjoon insisted, filling his spoon with rice.
"I have no excuses! I have a day off from work as well so I anyways would have just been at home." I flashed my teeth, "Oh by the way- when is your next heist?"
They all looked up at me like I'd told them I killed someone. Jimin even slid back to make sure no was outside the door to have heard me.
"How can you speak of that soo openly-!?" SeokJin whisper-screamed.
"Because it's only us here?" I whispered back.
"She's becoming too much of a homie." Yoongi commented in normal volume.
"Tommorow." Namjoon was the one to answer my question.
"Oh, where to this time?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Ahh- why does this sound like a spy interrogation to me." Taehyung laughed, shoving an over filled spoon of rice into his mouth.
"Hahaha what if I am a spy?"
Their eyes shot back in my direction, Taehyung's spoon froze in his mouth. It was silent- they'd all stopped chewing. Jungkook blinked at me multiple times with his head jittering in random directions.
"HEYY- NOO! I'M NOT! JIMIN WOULD HAVE KNOWN IF I WAS!" I pointed my finger at him.
"Right-", "Hmm." They all reacted, finally un-freezing.

Soon after the food was over, Yoongi and Jin left for the last garage work they had to complete before dinner. Namjoon got a call from a patient for an urgent appointment, so him and Hoseok had to leave too. Jimin left, saying he had an important meeting to attend regarding the falling apart 'TMM' case. Hah, the irony.
"Tannie! Handshake!" I extended my hand at the cute pup who very elegantly placed his paw in my hand.
"Good boy." Jungkook ruffled his tiny fur, while Taehyung offered a treat. We all were sitting on the floor, surrounding Tannie who wagged his tail at the speed of a propeller.
