Little Classic

Aurora's POV
I woke up with someone drawing on my face, I instantly opened my eyes to see Arlo is drawing on my face with a black marker

"your so f**king dead Arlo" I said and ran after him in the house, I heard a knock and I opened the door

Milo was at the door and when he saw my face he tried to stop his laugh but he failed
"Morning Aurora" he said while holding his stomach from laughing too much

I let him in my home, I saw Arlo hiding behind the kitchen counter

I grabbed his collar
"is this permanent?" I asked him and he shake his head "good" I let go of him, he ran up to his room

I passed by the mirror and Arlo draw a poop at my forhead, a moustache on top of my upper lip and a badly drawn glasses that is huge across my face

Milo sat on the sofa with amusement on his face, I ran back up to my room and wash my face

It really wasn't permanent thank goodness, I fixed my stuff and I prepared myself for school

Milo was still at the couch downstairs
"you ready?" he asked

"yeah let's just eat breakfast at the Waffle Palace" I replied and we went out

Archer used to always give me a ride when going to school but eversince Eunice came back I thought that he doesn't have time for me so I never ask him to drive me to school, Milo though was a suprise I didn't ask him to drive me to school but he came here on his own

We stopped at the parking lot of the Waffle Palace and got out of the car, we both went in and the smell of waffles hit my nose real hard

It was nice and early in the morning, there was not much people since some always just do the take out

There are music that are playing the speakers and all of them are oldies, the vibe in here is just so relaxing

Me and Milo finally found a seat and sat on it, we sat face to face. A waitress came and asked what our orders are and she gave us a menu

I ordered waffles and Milo ordered bacon and eggs, the waitress left and we talked to each other

"about yesterday" I said and Milo raised his brow as he drank the water that they gave us

"what about yesterday?" he asked me

"I didn't know you were actually not a loner, I didn't mean to offend you" I said to him

"it's no problem, other people also thought I am an outsider but some part of it is true" he said and he pulled out something from his bag and gave it to me. I looked and it was his Soccer team group photo

"all of them understands that when I don't like to talk they ignore me and never ask because they already know by looking at my face" he said as he pointed to some of his teammates that I already met

"it just so happens that a lot of people witness them ignoring me so that's how I got the name 'outcast', what made it more worst is that I am friends with a few outcasts too and they also ignore me when I don't feel like talking. So now I ended up with the title 'Outcast among Outcast'" he sighed and rubbed his temple because of people that keep misunderstanding him

This is very frustrating even for someone like me, you can't change people's views about you easily. What they only see is what they believe

Our food finally arrived and we ate in silence, we heard a loud "HEY LORNA!!" it was very loud that it startled both of us

We looked to see who it is and it was Elias and the whole Soccer team, Elias was talking to the waitress that took our order

One of the teammates named Marlow saw us "Hey isn't that Milo?" he said to others, all of them now looked at us

We tried to hid our faces from their view but sadly Milo's memorable long hair in a low ponytail made us recognizable, they chose tables that are around us

"guys did you follow us?" Milo asked them and all of them shake their heads

"nope" Elias said to him in reply

"Morning Little Classic" Aaron greeted me and is leaning beside the chair I am sitting on

"Little Classic?" What kind of nickname is that!!?

"all of us agreed to call you that from now on" Joshua told me

We just wanted to eat in peace but I guess this works too, me and Milo finally finished eating

"see you guys at school then" Milo told them and they waved at us

On the way out back to the parking lot, a car stopped right beside us, Archer and Eunice got out and saw us

"Aurora?" she said and I waved hello at her

"Oh my goodness!" she said in a happy tone and hugged me, Archer is smiling at me too. If there is something that breaks my heart is that I have to always support him on who he likes even if it's not me

"you became pretty Eunice" I told her

"really? Thanks you too!" she said out loud, Eunice is not someone I will hold a grudge against

She is better than me in every single way, I always get self conscious at the thought. I think Milo sense that I was being uncomfortable and he held my hand

Archer was eyeing our hand holding
"we should get to school Rora" he said and he put me in the passenger seat, I saw him nod to both of them and got in the car too

Milo's POV
Based on the way Aurora was uncomfortable with the girl, I can sense they must have a history together

I don't think that Aurora knows this but I know she liked Archer before, so being with his girlfriend and acting close to her made her uncomfortable

I think that I must have been her second option but I wouldn't jump to conclusions first, I would hear the explanation from Aurora herself
