Water Kiss

Milo's POV
Rora placed a soft kiss on the tip of my nose and gave me a heartwarming smile, I wanted her to kiss me again but this time on the lips but I remembered that I gotta work hard for it.

She was about to turn around when we suddenly heard someone yell "HEY!!"

It was the wandering guard and ha hasn't pointed the flashlight at us yet so I grabbed Rora's hand and we ran to the opposite direction where the computer lab was, we were running around campus with the guard still tailing us. I was not that worried about him catching us because I can pay the guard to shut up but I'm worried that Rora might not approve of my method even if it means she will get in trouble

Her hand was so soft yet I see her work so hard using the same soft hand, I checked to see her face and she has determination written all over. She doesn't want to get caught and it shows

We were a bit far now from the guard and I saw an open window from a random room so I did my best and helped Rora get in before me, we hid under the window inside of the classroom. We can hear the guard run past by the window

Rora and I were breathing heavily, we have been running around for a long time that I feel like I can faint at any moment. I'm not sure how Rora is feeling right now because she is not that athletic based on what I remember that Milly told me

I finally calmed down but she was still breathing heavily

"Water" she said between breaths and I looked around the room we are in, we were in an art room and if I remember correctly the water fountain is just in front of this classroom. Rora can't seem to stand up properly yet and she was laying down flat on the floor facing up

I let her gather a bit of strength and helped her to sit up and lay her back on the wall before I ran to open the door to get to the fountain, there is one minor detail that I forgot. The water fountain does not have any cups and the canteen is at the other end of the school which is far

I returned to the art room to find anything that looks like a cup but every time I see a cup it always has some leftover paint in it, Rora was gazing at me from her spot and I can see her chest rise and fall slowly

She must have calmed down but she needs water

So with much hesitation at the final decision that I made, I went to the fountain and have small amounts of water in my mouth and I went to Rora. Her eyes were half-closed and were glued to me with confusion, my hands went to cup her face and I leaned in to give her the water

I slowly pass the water to her mouth and I can feel her drink it, her lips were soft and warm. Her face was so small that my hands were enough to cover both sides of her face while drinking her eyes were closed and she doesn't seem to pull away. I didn't have any more water in my mouth so I went back and get some water

After I gave her the second batch of water she seems to finally be relaxed, I stopped and pulled away to check on her pulse

Aurora's POV
While Milo was giving water to me using his mouth, I felt his tongue a bit and I feel the blood run to my cheeks. He was not concerned that we were almost like we are kissing each other but he was worried about me breathing heavily

I was very tired from all the running, who knew that running through the campus is a workout itself than the entire football field, when he pulled away and checked my pulse I saw his face have relief written all over. He was so worried that I can feel his tension so I try to lighten the mood by saying "So you didn't find a cup?"

"It was the last thing that I was supposed to do, it's better than giving you paint water" he answered and checked outside of the windows

He kneeled beside me "Can you stand?" I nodded and I did my best to stand up but from all the running my legs were sore so when I walked I almost tripped if Milo wasn't able to catch me

"What am I gonna do with you?" He mumbled to himself before he bends down and picks me up bridal style, one of my arms went around his neck like we have done this before. I rested my head at his shoulder as he walked down the for riders while carrying me "Am I too heavy? I can walk on my own if you're too tired"

I tried to get off of him but his grip around me tightened "Don't force yourself if you are tired, we can't have your friends and family see you faint" his voice echoed a bit and I can now understand how low his voice was until we were talking in private with no noise

It was not that low nor too high, it was just a velvety sound that was soothing to the ears when he talks but when he is angry that velvety voice can also become scary like a threat

His heartbeat is now racing and it alarmed me that he might have a hard time breathing "Milo put me down, your heart is beating fast it's not good!" I patted his chest

"I said I won't, I'm fine" his voice was so demanding "Rora just rest, I'll take you back to the car" his request sounded like an order so I just listened to him

Milo's POV
I didn't know my heart was racing that fast, Rora knows it too. It must be from that water kiss
