The Cursing Brat And The Hobo

Aurora's POV
••••after classes••••
"Milo I don't think my entire existence can take it by just standing in front of her much less visit her bringing these" I groaned out as I am holding a bouquet full of daisies while Milo is holding a baby blue get well soon balloon at one hand
"C'mon Rora we were the reason she is in the hospital" he told me as he is pushing me gently with both of his hands at the side of my arms to prevent me to run away

Milo got this bright idea that we should apologize to Ms. Sunny after classes and I ran away which forced him to run after me and carry me on his shoulders like a sack of potatoes and put me in the passenger seat of his car, now that I think about it I just realized that Milo has two separated cars

The Toyota for school and the BMW for just him doing whatever stuff I guess

We stopped at the door that is where Ms. Sunny is placed and I feel like I took a bath in sweat and soaked myself more in the sun after
"Milo it's not too late to run" I whispered, he had a low chuckle

Milo was still behind me and is holding my arms tight but not too tight for it to hurt, I can feel his warm breath near my ear
"Rora we should apologize, Va bene?" (Okay?)

I just nodded not looking at him and just eyeing the door because if I look at him he might see my deep red face, WHY ON EARTH DOES HE HAVE TO SPEAK ITALIAN AT THE END OF THE SENTENCE!?

I feel like when he speaks English his voice is nice and innocent but when in Italian it felt like a major switch was activated in his voice is now super deep and sexy

I just want to hit my face at the door in front of me right now for thinking such thoughts, so instead of just being awkward and in a flustered mess with Milo, I'll take my chances with Ms. Sunny. So I held my breath deeply and knocked on the door

The door was opened and we were greeted by
"Mr. Cloudy?" I said out loud

He looked at me with one of his eyebrows raised
"Aurora and Milo, what are you two doing here?" He asked us in a warm tone

He has a happy face like all the time we see him
"Uh" I have no words but just show him the flowers and the balloon that we brought for Ms. Sunny

"Oh, come in" Mr. Cloudy cheerfully answered as he stepped aside for us to get in and I see Ms. Sunny on her back on a hospital bed, half of her body is covered with a blanket and her scary eagle eyes are watching us as we enter the room
"Well if it isn't the cursing brat and the hobo, didn't expect you two to visit me in the hospital" she crossed her arms

"Now, now Sara these two brought you to get well soon flowers" Mr. Cloudy said to Ms. Sunny
"Carl! Can't you see that I don't want to see a student right now? Especially these two buttheads!" She said loudly at him and Mr. Cloudy didn't even react much to her loud voice, he still has that smile on his face that turned into a grin

He chuckled "Alright you two, you guys can leave the balloon and flowers here or else she might get up and attack you both" he gestured us to leave it at the table next to Ms. Sunny's hospital bedside

We did leave it and we said goodbye to both of them with Ms. Sunny still yelling at us to leave saying
"Leave the damn hospital, you two knuckleheads!!"

Milo's POV
Rora got super excited to get out of the hospital that she practically ran to the door with glee
"Does it make you wonder if Ms. Sunny and Mr. Cloudy are friends?" I asked her and she look at me and giggled

"From the looks of it they act like a married couple" she suggested and she put on a thinking face to where her nose would wrinkle a bit and it would enhance her cuteness

Aurora's POV
"What about you? Do you think they're just friends?" I asked him and he shrugged

"Don't know cause they call each other casually, one is screaming and the other is smiling" he said to me

We were still walking to reach his car when I stopped
"Hey Milo!" I said to him along with a glance
"Hm?" He was confused a bit as to why I am calling him out of the blue

I asked him again what he and my parents talked about during his visit to my house

Milo's POV
Rora kept annoying me about what I talked about with her parents and I gave up because she looks like a puppy following me around just to know something because it's adorably curious

"Oh your parents just invited me to dinner on thur-" I stopped, I just realized what I said

Today is Wednesday and Tomorrow will be Thursday, "YOU ABSOLUTE IDIOT!" my subconscious right now is screaming and running around in my head thinking of what to do
"Ohh, so my dad invited you to dinner tomorrow that doesn't sound bad" she said to me

Aurora's POV
"DOESN'T SOUND BAD MY ASS!!" My subconscious is scolding me, if I let him eat dinner with my parents I might go through that awkward phase where my family will interrogate him

He might get awkward with me when I finally just got comfortable with him, he looks so uncomfortable at the idea of it right now

His face is screaming that he is nervous, should I talk with my parents to cancel dinner? But my Mom and Dad looks so happy and excited when I saw them before I left the house that day

This is giving me a migraine
