Let Me Love You Carmelita

Aurora's POV
•••••After School•••••
I met up with Milly who was waiting for me at the entrance
"You ready?" She asked and I looked around to look for the rest

"Where are the others?"
Milly pointed to the parking lot and I see everyone gathered in one spot, we walk up to them and I saw Milo who looked at me as he waved hi. The mask did hide my reaction to seeing him and that was good

We talked about which one of us will go in which car, of course I said that I will go with Milo. Archer though was deep in thought when I told him my answer, Andrea and Blaire will be with us in Milo's car while Archer, Eunice, Skye and Milly will be at the other car

It was quiet at first in the car but Andrea decided to be the one to control the radio and now we are listening to 'Carmelita'

in the car, we didn't dance but Andrea did and she involved Blaire and now both of them are dancing in the car behind us. Me and Milo didn't dance but we sang loudly, Andrea did too as for Blaire she pulled out her phone and recorded all of us

We finally arrived at the old arcade that me and Archer used to go to, we stepped out of the car and I am still humming the tune of 'Carmelita'

"Let me love you Carmelita" Milo was singing quietly and he held my hand which surprised me
"Let me kiss and hold you tight" I sang with him in a quiet voice too

Milo's POV
"Let me kiss and hold you tight" she sang back, her voice was lovely and I liked it

She chuckled a little, she may be hiding that smile behind that surgical mask but you can't fool the eyes. Her eyes were shining telling me she is happy right now

As soon as her eyes landed on Eunice and Archer stepping out of the car together her eyes lost their sparkle, she looked anywhere but them. I was not happy that I witnessed something like this in front of me, I look around the area and I found there is a whack-a-mole game

I tugged her hand and she looked up at me with her sad eyes disappearing

Aurora's POV
I looked up at Milo because he was tugging my hand
"What is it?" I asked

He pointed to the whack-a-mole game,  I smiled
"I want to play that" he told me and I laughed at him
"Alright you big kid but we should get tokens first" I boop his nose and pulled him inside the arcade, all of my friends are now inside running around playing games

Andrea and Archer are in a shooting game
"I used to be the best in this game" Archer said proudly, his eyes were focused on the target
"Used to?" Eunice was confused

"I stole the title from him being the best shooter in the game by a high score" I answered
"But in actuality I wasted my lunch money to practice the game" I whispered to Milo and he snickered

I pulled him to the token booth and we bought tokens, we went to the whack-a-mole and he took the toy hammer. The game started and I know I shouldn't be surprised at how fast Milo is but I did, he whacks the heck out of those toy moles in the game

The kids who were playing were amazed at Milo and I think I heard a kid say that Milo is now their idol, I grinned at how Milo is having so much fun

We played a lot of games and Blaire is still stuck at the claw machine, she wanted the elephant stuffed toy and it looks like she is about to get angry at any minute. All of us avoided her for the time being

The final game that we all agreed to do is the basketball game, lucky for all of us all the basketball games are the right amount to how many of us are going to play

We put the tokens together and started the game, I was shooting a lot of balls and my score is just above Milly's, Andrea, on the other hand, was catching up to the scores of Milo and Archer, Skye has the highest score at the moment in the game

We heard the alarm and the game ended, we look at all the scores
Milly - 98
Me - 103
Andrea - 144
Eunice - 153
Skye - 239
Archer - 382
Milo - 383

There was only one point difference between Milo and Archer, they both all at each other with seriousness in their eyes
"You guys did great!" I told it out loud to get their attention, the tension that was supposed to happen disappeared

"I wanna know what type of drug did Milo get to get that abnormally high score" Skye said as she is in awe at the score

"I'm not on drugs Skye" Milo told her
"You gotta be because I will not accept that you have a high score, I demand a rematch!" Andrea pointed to Milo who fixes his glasses that was about to slide off his nose

We felt a strong presence and it was Blaire, she didn't win the toy elephant but it looks like she is annoyed
"How about basketball hm? That sounds fun" I patted her back and gestured her to look at the game, she sighed and put her token in the slot and the game started

She was in a rage because she keeps throwing the ball and we can imagine that if she ever gets angry during a dodgeball game the person she hits with the ball will die within seconds, we pray that imagination won't happen

Blair's was really pissed at the claw machine game because she got the highest score out of all of us with a score of 413

Milo leaned in to whisper on my ear
"Remind me to never make Blaire angry"

I was still looking at the score that Blaire got
"Yeah I should" I answered
