Aurora's POV
"I'm so sorry" he apologized again for the 25th time while in the faculty, I sighed "As I said, I'm fine you don't need to apologize every minute while we're here, or else the guard might catch us"

"Yeah Milo, you're too conscious" Archer mocked him while giving him a side glare

"Archer stop it" I scolded him and he grinned at me

I should've just gone with Joshua and the others, these two might kill each other before we could even find Andrea's phone and I don't wanna be here all night. We heard loud footsteps and there was a flashlight being lighted on the wall where the water fountain is, I was close to the water fountain but Elias pulled me to hide quickly behind the bookshelf

Milo and Archer hid under the desks, we waited until the guard steps out and we continued to search the faculty room for the keys to open the room where all the keys are located

The only problem is we have to go to the principal's office since it is the only place that we haven't searched yet and because all of the desks doesn't have any keys that fit on the lock of the room where all of the keys are

I picked the lock of the principal's office door and it opened, I went in first and headed straight to the drawers under the desk and I found it. Throwing the key to Elias and he handed it to Archer

Archer hated Milo so much that he just threw the key with such strength that I almost assumed that it might not reach Milo's arms-length

But as his friends say, I should not underestimate Milo Rivers

That's the first thing I would remember from now on if I ever doubted Milo's abilities, Milo gave Archer a smug look before entering the room and getting the keys. I tapped Archer's shoulder "You shouldn't be fighting with Milo right now"

"Rora I suggest you take my advice and don't listen with Milo" he whispers in my ear before leaning at a desk
Why would I not listen to Milo?

Before I could even ask Archer what is he trying to say to me, Milo got the keys and pulled me away from Archer

Milo's POV
When I got the keys, I overheard that Archer is manipulating Rora and I quickly ran to pull her away from him. She has a confused face and often glances at Archer from time to time while we walked to the computer can

Her attention is shifting to Archer and I must get it back, this was supposed to be a simple mission but instead, it has to turn into a competition between him and me for Rora's attention. I seriously can't focus right now because of it

When we reached the computer lab we were greeted by Blaire's group that has been waiting there for a long time, I handed Andrea the keys and she opened the door. The others ran in quickly because at the end of the hallway we can see a flashlight getting nearer

Aurora's POV
Everybody scaled to find a hiding spot and before I could find one, Archer pulled me to hide under the table, and across from us was Milo who hid under the teacher's desk

Archer has his arms around like a tight hug and I feel my heart begin to race, he has never higher me in a long time, and it shows. It was warm and we were too close since we only squeezed ourselves under the desk, we all tried to keep ourselves as quiet as possible and that means not moving even the tiniest bit to not make any noise

Blaire and Andrea saw it and they were alarmed to see that I was too close to Archer, the guard was taking his sweet time in walking and Archer was getting tired that he rested his head on my shoulder. Milo was watching us and I don't know what to do anymore since I am in a tight situation between the both of them

Milo's eyes were now filled with rage that it was not hard not to tell because if looks could kill, Archer would be dead right now. When we hear that the guard has already left, I removed Archer's arms around me and I quickly got up

Milo stood up and walked away and I ran after him

"Milo" I whisper yell out to him and he didn't even try to stop walking, running after him was tiring since my legs are short, and walking a distance is nothing to a guy like him since he has long legs

He finally stopped once we were alone and he looked down at me "Why are you following me?" He asked with spite, I was taken back at his idiotic reaction

"Why are you acting like this? You know we almost caught and it was a last-minute attempt to hide!"

He groaned and combed his fingers through his hair as he tries to calm himself down "I know that you hate Archer but please just not now" I pleaded to him to the best of my capabilities, if he acts out we all might get in trouble

Milo exhaled a deep breath and closed his eyes, both of my hands reached to cup his face to force him to look at me "I don't want you to be the cause of everybody getting in trouble"

"I understand" he said that but he is still displeased at what happened earlier

"Archer was trying to help me, there was only a limited amount of hiding places to be in and the guard almost caught all of us" I explained more and he kept nodding while his face is still in between my hands

"I get it now, you don't need to explain further Rora"

I grinned and kissed the tip of his nose "Good"
