Hunger Monster

Aurora's POV
"His heart is racing" is the first thought that I made when my ear went close to his chest, he was cuddly too even though the position where I am straddling him made me embarrassed

"Gale was being a slut again, she was trying to get to me" he explained in my ear, his hug around me tightened which made him give off more warmth on this cold night. I nuzzled my face in his chest "I see"

His hand went up and down my back like a small massage "I hope you don't get any ideas from my interaction with her"

I blew a raspberry and chuckled "No I didn't"

His lips formed a smirk and one of his brows is raised giving me the "Are you sure about that?" Look

I put a strand of hair behind my ear since it fell down on my face since it was getting more windy "Well I thought you could do that since our relationship isn't official, so I let you" I told him before looking away

Milo's POV
My hand slowly went to cup her face so she can face me, she must be embarrassed about this and was trying hard not to show it to me. Yes, the night was an advantage for her to hide her reaction but since the moon was bright tonight I can get to see it

Her cheeks were warm too so I know it already, she laughed nervously "It's nothing so don't worry about it" she forced an obviously fake smile, it was her idea to date me but it was my idea to pursue her for real but this adorably dumb idiot is dense about it

She puts her hand in her pocket and pulled out a small teddy bear keychain, she was fumbling to give it to me and I gladly accepted it "Where did you get this?"

She beamed "After me and my friends finished playing paintball we went to an amusement park and there was this dart game and I won 2 small keychain teddy bears" she pulled out the same keychain teddy bear that was attached to her phone case

"Or you can give it away if you don't like" she added

"That's stupid, I'll keep it" I said in my head as I shoved it deep inside my pocket, "So what is your decision?" I asked her

She gave me a confused look "My decision on what?"

"Your decision about joining the girl group"

She went silent "I have never thought that an opportunity would appear to me like this, it was unexpected but I'll take my chances. Even if we didn't take off at least we would have fun" she grinned happily, her positivity was radiating off of her and it was rubbing off on me too. I was addicted to her

She stood up and gave me her hand so I can get up, we walked back to her home slowly together side by side

"Archer was so sullen this morning that I almost went to hug him" she joked then giggled right after

If he is going to use the pity tactic on Rora I might have to take some extreme ways to make her avoid him, I can allow her to be with other males just not with Archer. That guy is just a wolf wearing sheep's clothing and I think Eunice already knew that, that is why she managed to escape her relationship with Archer

I know this because I heard her phone call with a friend when I was walking home from school, I saw her eating ice cream in a park while making a phone call with a friend I assumed. I managed to stay hidden behind a tree that she was leaning on

"God Lila I was finally able to make a good excuse to break up with him" Eunice sighed in relief

"Good for you Eunice he is so toxic that it made all of us change, it was creepy"

Eunice finished up her ice cream and continued the conversation "I am switching universities just so I could avoid his stalker attitude, I can't even hang out with you guys anymore because he is too paranoid" she shivered at the thought

"Yeah, you might wanna change all of your contacts and be off on social media for a while"

"You bet I will"

That's basically everything I need to hear that Archer is no normal person, I'm not gonna let this pure ball of happiness get sucked into his messed-up personality. Rora was skipping happily to her home and waited for me to come to the porch so we can enter together, she pulled out her spare keys in her pocket and inserted them at the lock

We entered her home finding Arlo sitting in front of the fridge gouging down all of the snacks, his mouth was full when he turned around. We went inside quietly without even making a single noise so he spat out the food he was about to swallow from shock and surprise when his eyes were set on us

He took a kitchen towel and cleaned off his face "I didn't know you were visiting" he said to Rora

She crossed her arms at him and looked at the open fridge "I didn't know that the hunger monster is back, you're eating at almost midnight Arlo"

Arlo scoffed at his sister "You are no different from me, you eat a lot after midnight!"

Now that was news to me "Wait she eats after midnight?" I asked Arlo and he nodded then pointed to his sister

"She has the occasional hunger monster too so she wakes up from her sleep and would sneakily go down to eat leftover tacos from dinner"

Rora's eyes widened "Hey! Since when on earth did you know I was munching on tacos?" She puts both of her hands on her waist

"Because those leftover tacos were supposed to be mine!" Arlo told her loudly, he wanted revenge for the tacos he left for him to eat only for Rora to finish it all
