Milo's POV
"Milo how on earth do you not know of Edi being a model!?" Rora told me with a surprised face

I sighed, I can't believe I have to do this. I look at Rora straight in the eyes, I'm trying to make her sense my seriousness

If there is one person that I don't like to see this side of me, that is Rora but I still can't let her find out and I can't force her into the car I just need to tell her as an order so we can leave this place to further stop her from questioning me
"Rora get in. now."

Aurora's POV
I have never seen Milo so serious, he always shows that carefree attitude that me and everyone around him liked. The way he says it to me sounds like an order, I will be honest here I did like it a bit

"Why so serious?" I asked him and he removed his glasses to pinch his nose bridge in what I think to be frustration

"I can't tell you but please get in Rora" he pleaded to me, I never knew why he acted like this and I don't plan on ever asking him because I might intrude in his private life

"Fine but if I ever meet Edi I will just ask him" I walked back to the passenger seat and put on the seat belt buckle, the car ride was silent until we stopped at a small store just out of town

When I unbuckle my seat belt and was about to open the passenger seat door to get out, Milo grabbed my forearm and pulled me to him. He used too much force that our faces are near and our nose touch, my mask is the only thing that is between us from going too close
"I know you only mean that as a joke Rora but don't try me" he said in a low voice as his 2 coloured eyes has a hint of darkness in them

I gulped "okay" I answered, people don't take him seriously but when he becomes serious his aura changes into this authoritative figure. It doesn't also help that he has a tall and broad figure that emphasises his hidden authority more

"Good girl" he smiled and I can feel the air around us become light again, he got out of the driver's seat and went around the car to open the passenger door for me

"MILO!!" I heard a little boy's voice from afar, I look at the storefront to see the little boy run to Milo's arms and Milo lifted him up
"Hey buddy" he told him

"You haven't visited in months, I thought you were dead!!" The little guy exclaimed, the boy looked at me with his round chocolate brown eyes as his little finger pointed to me
"Who's she?" He asked looking up at Milo, I saw a curl from his dark hair fall at his face

Their height is a huge difference with the boy only reaching Milo's knee and Milo being taller than me, with his towering 6'4 height I doubt anyone would wonder. I felt an arm wrapped around my waist as Milo pulled me closer to his side
"This is my girlfriend, Aurora"

"Woah! A girlfriend!" The boy said excitedly as he pulled me down when he grabbed my hand forcing me to bend down to his height, he observed my face closely then he gave Milo a glare

"No fair! If cousin Milo has a girlfriend then so do I" he announced to us
"You will also be my girlfriend" he told me as he put both of his small hands at both sides cupping my face

Milo's eyes have widened
"Manolo no, she is my girlfriend you better find someone else" he carried the boy on his shoulder as we went into the store

"Who cares? She looks ok so she will be my girlfriend too!" The boy named Manolo said loudly which made a lady turn to look at us

Her eyes are the same as Manolo's, her height is a bit shorter than me and she is a bit chubby with shoulder-length hair that is strawberry blonde with some white hair because of age

"What is this about a girlfriend Manolo?" She asked Manolo as she took him from Milo's shoulder and carried him making him sit on the side of her hips, the lady's eyes went to me

"Mind explaining Milo?" She gestured to me by tilting her head and giving him a warm smile

"Milo told me that's his girlfriend" Manolo whisper yell to the woman and she eyes me up and down, Milo told me to wait and he pulled the woman to the corner of the store to have a private conversation with her

Milo's POV
"Is she one of your new girlfriends?" She asked me then chuckled, I gave her a sheepish grin
"She's different Aunt Ava"

She side glance at Rora who is now playing hand games with Manolo who is sitting on the counter
"I hope you're right" she told me and I gave her a reassuring look

"She is not like the last one 4 years ago"
"I still don't want to remember the chaos she caused in the Rivers clan" she shakes her head

My ex did quite a lot of discord in my family and the company, I thanked whoever took her in as a bride since she is not following me anymore as a stalker

I patted her back and she walked up to Rora and gave her a hug which surprised Rora

Aurora's POV
After the lady pulled away from the hug she looked at the both of us
"So what brings you two here?" She said and I can hear a Mexican accent in her voice

"We're just here to look for wood carving materials" I answered her and she went behind the store to get something, the store looks like any typical convenience store that you see around the city. She came back with a box full of new wood carving tools

I pulled a carvers mallet out of the box and inspect it
"This is a nice quality tool" I told her

"Only the finest at my shop" she said proudly with both hands on her hips, I gaze at Milo
"Who knew that wood carving has a lot of tools" I look more into the box

"Yeah I know" he answered as he looked through the box with me

"I just hope we will be able to distinguish how to use all of it in time for the volunteer wood carving"

I touched my pant pocket to get my wallet
"So how much for all of it?" I asked her and she gave me a chuckle

Manolo stood up at the counter
"No fret dear girlfriend, The tools are already paid by cousin Milo" he did the jazz hands pointing to Milo

"Milo" I told him in a scolding tone as I cross my arms giving him the look
"Just accept it as a gift" he gave me a boyish grin

"And here I thought we agree I would pay half of it" I held the box, he was right behind me and he put two of his hands on both of my shoulders and massage them a bit

"All right don't get angry" he said to me softly and I sighed, our act made the lady laugh
"Sounds like this is an everyday situation"

"It is" I replied the Milo instantly pushed me little by little to the entrance door and before he could open the door for me, he quickly ran and kissed the lady on the cheek before he opened the door for me

"Bye Ava, see you later buddy" he gave Manolo a salute and Manolo returned it

As we got near to the car, Milo opened the back seat for me to put the box in. Then we went to our seats at the front
"I like Manolo he's a cute child" I told him

"Yeah but he might steal you away from me" he joked as he started the car
"Why?" I asked as I fixed my position at the passenger seat
"You might choose him over me" he sounds jealous over a kid

I click my tongue "maybe"
