65. Missing Slytherin

I passed the honey to Teddy and took a bite from my toast.

It is still raining outside and all the students are having breakfast. It looks like the weather will be same for the rest of the day, so Professor McGonagall canceled quidditch trainings.

"Is she coming towards us or am I hallucinating?" I turned my head to see what Fred was looking at.

A girl with Ravenclaw uniform waved her hand towards us while saying hi to a group of Hufflepuff.

Raven.

She sat next to me and took a bite from my toast. "Goof morfing."

I smiled and as the others only nodded. "Why hello there, Raven. Long time no see."

She nodded while swallowing my toast. "I mow. I've beef... bufy with... holywork."

I turned to my friends and translated. "She's been busy with homeworks."

"Aaah." They all shook their heads and continued their breakfast.

"So," I waited for her to swallow before continuing. "Can I ask why you're sitting with us?"

"Right." She tucked her hair behind her ear. "I wanted to ask you guys if you have heard about the missing Slytherin."

James' POV:

I watched Fred grab his spoon and put it in his mouth.

"You don't have anything on your spoon, mate." I chuckled as he turned back to me.

"I don't? Oh, right. Yeah, sure thing." He dipped his knife into his cheese and bit it while looking away.

"What are you looking at?" I followed his gaze and saw the Ravenclaw girl who just took a bite from Lily's toast.

She must be Raven.

Lily sometimes talks about her.

Lily turned to look at us. "She's been busy with homeworks."

Teddy nodded in understandment while Roxanne and Alice continued their breakfast.

"Right. I wanted to ask you guys if you have heard about the missing Slytherin."

Teddy looked up with a confused face and checked the Slytherin table. He sat up and sat back down. "Okay, it's not my Slytherin."

Roxanne laughed at him while Alice and Lily stared at Raven.

"Do you know who he is?" Alice asked with worry.

I don't know how she is not a Hufflepuff. I mean yeah she is brave, but she is too cute to be here -not as cute as Lily, of course. Hufflepuff sometimes seems like a better fit for her.

"What was his name again?" Raven closed her eyes and bit her nail. "Eli... Lie.. Elihaj?"

Roxanne dropepd her fork. "You mean Elijah?"

Ugh, not that mother-

"Yes! That's the one!"

Roxanne looked at Lily with a smile. "Hey, wasn't he the one we told you about? Back then we didn't know you were dating James, of course." She turned back to Raven after putting an olive into her mouth. "How do you know he is lost?"

"His friends can't find him anywhere."

Lily took a big sip from her drink and I could see her knuckles were completely white. "What a shame."

"From what I've heard from Nico," Teddy swallowed. "He was actually obsessed with you. Before... you two started dating."

I cleared my throat. "Obsessed as in?"

"Nico has his own room because he is a prefect, but according to one of his friends -who is roommates with this guy- he said he would never stop talking about Lily, and how stupid you are." Fred let out a chuckle. "And apparently he even believed that the only reason Lily was dating you was because she was scared to admit her feelings for him."

Lily's POV:

I stared at my plate and didn't dare to make a sound while Fred was full on laughing. He took a long sip from his orange juice to stop himself.

Hopefully James is not smart enough to connect the dots.

"Well he can go fuck himself."

Fred spilled his juice after James' words and started laughing again. His whole face turned red from laughing as he hit the table with his hand.

Raven nudged my shoulder and whispered to my ear. "Why is the ginger one laughing his ass off?"

I tried to smile but it didn't work. "He's Fred. And he is always like this."

She leaned on the table and stared at Fred. "I like your freckles." Fred stopped laughing but got even more red.

Raven went on. "You look like a baloon when you do that."

I held her arm and lowered my voice. "People normally don't like it when they make fun of their faces."

"I am not making fun of it. I am simply saying that it's red, and I like it."

"So how long has he been lost?" Roxanne asked.

"Since this morning. One of his roommates apparently saw him leave their dorm early in the morning."

James and I made eye contact and I quickly looked away. "Is he the one who talked to you at the joke shop? When we were looking to Max?"

I nodded and ate the rest of my omlette in one bite.

"Good to know."

A/N: I know this is a short chapter but a lot of things are happening in my life that I need to deal with.

My dad and I are not talking anymore bc he didn't tell me he wanted to name my half sister after me. As in.... now we both have the same first name, middle name, and last name.

I knew this baby was a replacement of me but damn that's a bit too harsh old man💀

And I didn't even want another sibling in my life but here I am taking care of a new born bc my stepmom and dad don't know how to look at their own kid.

Anyways, I don't want to bore any of you by my never ending problems.

I promised a lot of people in my dm's that I would update. So here I am.

I also like writing this book, it makes me forget about my own life and problems. It's my way of escaping reality😌💅 nice.
