• CHAPTER 4 •

I dropped sienna off and made my way to my office. Arriving there I park my car where I always do and make my way inside. Getting greetings as soon as I enter I nod my head and get into my private elevator. Boujee I know but dad being ya know dad insisted I have my own elevator for precaution, and I had no say in it. I pressed the top floor and patiently waited until it beeped indicating I arrived on my floor.

I get out just to be greeted by my secretary Lizzy "good morning Ana, today you have a team meeting in half an hour, after that at 10 am you have a board meeting with your new recent allies and at 11:30 am you have a meeting with Jenson about the new contract signing which should only take a few minutes, at 12:45 pm you have a discussion meeting with the architectural plan of Mr. Kings building, at 2:00 you have a lunch meeting with Mrs. robins for your gala dress and at 3:15 you have a dental appointment with Baby Eli and the after that youre day is officially done" she finished as I look up at her and give her a warm smile.

"Thank you, Lizzy you may leave," I said as she nods her head and makes her way out closing the door lightly behind her. I open my laptop and begin answering a few latest emails and preparing the last of graphics I need to hand out in todays board meeting and the meeting thats happening in less than 28 minutes.

"Babe Leah is flying in today with Jonah and the twins," My wife tells me while peeking her beautiful head out from the doorway leading into my office. I smile at her as she furrows her eyebrows "stop looking at me like that" she says as she opens the door wider and incomes running our baby boy "dad daddy lets go outside and play with ash and jet, I wanna play with them but momma said I have to ask you and we have to eat food but dad Im not hungry and she just doesnt understand!" he finishes as he crosses his arms and looks at Ana with a grumpy face.

She looks at me and crosses her arms, oh no here it comes "Alec. Xavier. Ferrari. tell your son to fix that attitude, or I wont help you in on that thing I told you I would help you in, this morning" she warned as I sighed, she pulled that card.

Fuck yea she did gotta love her!

Shut the hell up shes mine.

I turn to Eli and look at him "bud you have to listen to your mother, once your done eating well go out and play until you get tired. Fix that grumpy face and go give mommy a hug" I said as he looked at Ana then back at me then sighed ok he surrendered as he went over to Ana and smiled then hugged her "sorry momma" he apologized as she smiled and scoped him up kissing his cute little face "its ok, now lets go finish eating so we can go outside ok?" she asked as he nodded his head and they both looked at me with the same bored expression "you coming?" they both asked at the same time as I chuckled and follow them to the kitchen.

God, Im so dammed lucky.

"Now lainy I need those files done by the end of the week, jenny I need the old factors from the past year in my office tomorrow morning, and Liam I need the confiscated pattern which was redone and some new adjustments to it. Now for the rest of you, I need you guys to brainstorms a few new ideas for the major Maddison building, got it?" I finished off as they nodded their heads

"uh, when should the ideas be put up?" Lucian asks "mm at least by the end of the week I would like it if it were before Friday but its alright if its done by Friday just make sure you check it with Lizzy and then bring it to me alright?" I asked all right, they said as I shook my head "alright guys that was all for this meeting if you need anything leave me an email or ask Lizzy, you are all dismissed," I said as they all said goodbye and made their way back to their cubicles.

4 AND A HALF HOURS LATER

"Ms. Ferrari" the idiot of Mr. king started as I rolled my eyes "long time no see," he says as he smirks "yea amazing time," I said as he rolled his eyes "so we're here to talk business what is it you wanted in your structural base?" I asked as he sat down in front of me. "Straight to the point gotta love that," he says sarcastically as I internally strangle him, fucking prick.

"Yea well Mr. King Im strictly business," I say with a double meaning to it. "Yea id like to say otherwise. But you know I wont" he teases as I roll my eyes for the third time.

"Id like to say the same to you," I said as he chuckled "I really don't remember it being that way, but if you insist we shall keep it like that," he says as I grit my teeth, kill me now!

"Cut the crap, Clarke!" I say as I get up from my chair and put my balled-up fists against the wood table. his expression turns into a serious one. "Cut what crap Diana?" he said as he followed my move "you know what Im talking about! Why are you even here? To fuck up my life again!" I say as he darkly chuckled, he moved closed to me as I stood up with my head held high. I wont let him step over me again.

"Me? Fuck up your life?" he asks as I roll my eyes "nooo Marians life, yes my life dipshit" I say sarcastically as he rolls his eyes. "Let me remind you, Diana, you made the choice, YOU fucked it all up!" he raised his voice as I could slowly feel my blood boil.

I darkly laugh as I stand up to him "you played the whole thing YOU faked it all and youre blaming me?"I ask as I continue laughing at his stupidity.

"Please, you sound pathetic, your such a hypocrite with a huge ego thats twice the size of Texas! You never gave a shit so DONT stand in front of me blaming me for your stupidity. Im a FERRARI you dont play with a Ferrari not expecting payback. You by now should already know that." I said as I grabbed my things and made my way out of the meeting room, but just before I opened the door I looked over my shoulder "oh, and Clarke?" I start "what?" he asks angrily "get ready cause Im bringing your ass down" I say then walk out.

Fucker will think twice before he messes with me again.
