"Your internship will be starting next week. These past few days, I requested your desired position in your fieldwork, and I have given you the list, am I right?"

"Alright. Then it's all settled. You have 300 hours to complete your internship before your graduation. What you only need to do is prepare your applications that they needed before passing it to them.

I was playing with my pen when our professor began to announce the field of work we were going to work in.

I'm basically not sure about the position that I've chosen, but serving the customers by greeting, welcoming them, and assisting them appropriately, like a dedicated receptionist in her field, quite excites me, despite the fact that it is a light thing to do. Ferisha, on the other hand, desired the position of Marketing Assistant—supporting sales production and projects in the field—but that is actually not my thing. We're here for an experience, not to always stick together just because we've gotten used to being on each other's side.

We're building a new world here—something that is worth living.

"Last student that I had recommended for the main company of COST Group, you're in, Miss Sahara Catedras."

Everyone looks at me upon our professor's mentioning my name.

"'Yon o! Main branch.

"Oh, shut up."

I shake my head.

Ferisha then pokes me. "We're both assigned to the main capital, Sahara," she whispers. I pursed my lips. "Hays.

"And please, guys. Be responsible interns. Think that you're already a registered employee and that you're doing this not just because you need this to get your diploma, but to become what you desire to be. Bahala kayong maghanap ng sarili n'yong field sakaling pumalpak kayo, kaya ayusin n'yo 'yan."

After a couple of reminders, our professor leaves the room.

We are engrossed in finding the right place to sit when some male students raise their hands, saying hi to me whenever my eyes wander.

"I managed to delete your photos, but then, everyone seems interested in getting to know you. Seryoso? Freshmen? Sophomore?

Maliwanag ba?"
