Y/n sat at his desk, scratching his head.

"I'm not understanding this."

"This is basic algebra Y/n."

"Why the fuck do I need to solve squares?"

"I don't know! Just pay attention! I'll explain it once more."

"Okay."

"The equation is 'ax² + bx + c."

"Okay."

"For this problem, you have to find 'c."

"How the fuck do I find 'c?"

"Since 'a' is one, you just take half of 'b' and square it."

"What? Why?"

"Because that makes it a perfect square."

"Why?"

"Because if you were to simplify it, you'd be able to distribute it and it'd end up like this again."

"Why?"

"How long are you going to keep asking 'why?"

"I don't know. It helps me listen to your voice."

"My-" Minju blushed, quickly shaking it away, "Ya. Do you know how to do this?"

"I understood the first time you explained it."

Minju glanced at her watch, "I sat here for ten minutes aimlessly explaining so you could listen to my voice?"

"Yes. It's very soothing."

Minju smiled, "Maybe I should have a podcast."

"Just for me."

"Just for you?"

"Yeah."

"What if I made other friends?"

"Then it could be for them as well."

"So a podcast for friends."

"Yeah."

"What if I were to make other other friends?"

"You can go ahead and do that. I'm not stopping you."

"You're not?"

"Why would I?"

"Because I'm your only friend?"

"Like I said earlier, If I wanted friends, I'd go online."

"But you seem to enjoy our time together. Would you not be at least sad if I were to make new friends?"

"Not really. While I'm having fun, it'd just be like me going back to my old life. I didn't really mind my old life."

"That's sad," Minju rubbed Y/n's back, "You'll be my own friend as well then."

Y/n scoffed, "I don't need your pity."

"Then it'll be to keep our bond strong."

"To keep our bond strong?"

"Yeah, you're the only person I can mock and not have to get worried about offending."

Y/n chuckled, "That's pretty sad. Did you get picked on a lot with your old friends?"

"N-No!"

"I'm thinking you did."

"They didn't tease me that much. They were mostly chill people."

"Well, fire away as much as you want. I don't really care. In fact, I might just fire back."

Minju giggled, "That's the exact kind of bond that I look for."
