Y/n knocked on Minju's open door.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"Your room looks a lot nicer than I thought it would."

Minju scoffed, "What's that supposed to mean?"

"I don't know, I just didn't expect it to look this nice."

"Thanks."

"No problem."

"What did you come up here for?"

"To keep you company."

"Awwww... Thanks."

Y/n sat on the floor next to Minju's bed.

"Are we still going to hold off on the school stuff? Or do you want to do it now that you're out of bed?"

"Might as well do it after breakfast."

Y/n nodded, "That works with me."

Not long after Y/n settled down, Mrs. Kim appeared at the open door frame.

"Breakfast is ready."

Minju looked at her mother, and nodded.

"Okay."

Minju motioned to head over to the kitchen as she stood on her feet. Y/n followed in suit, still hesitant to walk with Minju.

Why am I so apprehensive? I'm used to talking to her parents now.

Y/n sat down at the table, looking at the food in front of him.

This looks good.

Y/n watched Minju begin eating before starting himself.

"So Y/n." Mr. Kim started, "How is school for you?"

"It's not bad. I'm not a super genius like your daughter, but I'm managing."

Mr. Kim chuckled.

"Super genius... That's my girl."

Minju cringed as she heard the conversation between the two guys.

"Dad!"

"What? He said it himself."

"But it's different when you say it."

"Ouch... I'm sensing bias here."

Y/n nodded, "My bias sensor is going haywire. Maybe it's the person right next to me-"

"Ya, don't fan the flames."

"I can't stay warm with just embers."

Mr. Kim held out his fist.

"Nice one."

Y/n bumped fists with the older man, smiling widely.

They're ganging up on me...

Minju turned to her mother.

"Mom! Do something about this!!"

"Do what? They're not doing anything bad, they're just having fun."

"You sound like a child Min."

Mr. Kim raised an eyebrow, looking at the two. "Min? I don't remember you having a nickname for her yesterday."

"He was probably too shy to call her by her nickname." Mrs. Kim replied.

Mr. Kim nodded, "You're right."

Minju pouted as she poked at her food.

"No fair..."

As breakfast came to a close, Minju took Y/n's plate, stacking it on her own.
