Vesper showed that she was happy with Joshua. Joshua was dedicated in the relationship. He stopped wearing glasses and instead used lenses because Vesper thought he looked nerdy. He stopped helping his classmates because Vesper hated him talking to girls. Too much toxicity.
He sometimes had a problem with her attitude, but he would let go. Probably thinking that she did those acts because she cared for him. Only if he knew. Vesper was cheating on him behind his back with some rich dude who happened to be his family friend.
She used Joshua. She publicly embarrassed him by telling that she could never take rejection and wanted to show boys like Joshua where they belong. How pathetic.
