Time skip close to Christmas
Doctor's pov
"Were losing her!" I yelled.

Rushing her over to the OR.

I heard her words whimpering out.

"Please..." she whimpered.

"Hey stay with me okay? Stay with me." I said but it was no use.

Before I could even get ready the monitor flatlined...

"Cmon! Intubate her!" I yelled.

"You start the chest compressions!" I yelled.

I grabbed the defibrillator rubbing them together.

"Back away! 3... 2... 1! CLEAR!" I yelled.

Pressing it on her chest her body jolted but then laid steadied.

I tried to go another round before another doctor stopped me.

"Doctor... you have to stop she's dead." A nurse told me.

"Time of death... 1:28..." I whispered.

End of story

Naw I'm just kidding

Katelyn's pov
"You ready captain?" A teammate said.

"Yeah." I said.

The coach came down as she was getting a little cold.

"Guys! Reporters are gonna be here! Play your best!" She said.

"You ready to play?" Lola smirked.

"Yeah ready to play on television again!" I said annoyed.

"Oh and guess what." I said as she looked at me again.

I pulled out a dollar bill. Anna's signature written on it.

"Oh my god..." she said laughing.

*Ring*

"Oh that's my phone. You go and warm em up and I'll be there in a second." I said and she nodded leaving.

Answering the phone it was a man's voice.

"This is Katelyn Gray?" He asked.

"Yeah... who's asking." I said.

"Recent Margret Gray has gotten into stroke. Time of death... 1:28." I heard.

My heart shattered right there.

"Wait wait... no this has got to be a joke." I said.

"No ma'am..." he said.

"GRAY GET OUT HERE NOW!" I heard the coach yell.

I was panicking inside. I hung up on the dude cutting him off.

My breathing took another level.

"Please... why... why now." I mumbled.

"Hey?! Where are yo- Wait you okay?" Lola said.

"Just go. Okay... take someone to take my place." I said.

She left because I needed space.

"God why now." I whispered.

I collapsed sliding down the lockers.

"Cmon... Katelyn a whole game is outside..." I said.

I grabbed the meds and got myself to calm down.
