(19) Niki <3

I said my goodbyes to Wilbur and went to find Sam and Ranboo. I walked down the prime path trying desperately to find Sam, but ultimately just ended up at Niki's little cafe. not too bad of a place to be
i thought. It wouldn't hurt to go say hi, after all she is probably gonna be very happy I'm alive.

I stepped up to the door and slowly opened it, hearing a ringing of bells as I walked in. I smiled at the smell of fresh pumpkin pie and bread, it always smelled nice in here. I walked up to the counter, deciding I would give her a small surprise. I waited for a moment before I heard footsteps coming my way. She appeared behind the counter, her eyes closed and a small smile on her face.

Niki- "Hello, how may i help yo-"

She had opened her eyes to speak to me, and her smile immediately widened.

Y/N- "Hi, Niki."

She rushed out from behind the counter, having to walk around. I giggled at her small amount of struggle and opened my arms for a hug. She practically jumped on me as we hugged. We stayed there for a little while, happy to be in eachothers company. Once we let go, I could see that her eyes were a bit watery, and I realized she was about to cry.

Y/N- "Nikiii! Don't cry because of meeee! I'm sorry! Nooooo!"

I drew out all my words in a mock sadness, grabbing onto her shoulders.

Niki- "I'm just, so happy you're okay, you have no idea!"

She grabbed onto my shoulders as well now, putting us in the classical 'teenage girl hug'. We smiled at each other for a minute before she let go, and so did I.

Niki- "Well, do you want something to eat? You look a bit hungry."

I nodded eagerly at her, Niki made the best sweets.

Niki- "Okay! Here, go wait at a table, I'll get us food!"

I nodded at her and she started to skip into her kitchen, making me giggle at her excitement. I walked over to a table, it was by the window and there was a pretty plant near it as well. I sat down and waited for Niki, happily humming a soft tune. My leg bounced up and down as I waited, reminding me that I needed to find Sam and Ranboo before the sun went down. I didn't have the time to visit Niki, but I didn't care. She's my friend, I'm gonna say hi. I was deep in thought when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I quickly looked up, seeing a smiling Niki.

Niki- "I have food~"

Y/N- "Awesome! Thanks Niki."

I smiled at her as she placed a fresh pumpkin pie on the table, sitting down across from me. She cut it so we both had a piece and put one of the plates in front of me. I once again nodded my thanks and began to eat. Turns out, I was very hungry. She giggled and I looked up, a confused look on my face.

Y/N- "hm?'

Niki- "what, does the afterlife starve you or something?"

She giggled at her own joke and I giggled with her. This made me want to tell her all about it though.

Y/N- "You have NO IDEA. There was just a train, and nothing else, no food, no water, no nothing! Its dumb! I honestly probably wouldn't have lasted a week there."

I shook my head tilting down a bit.

Niki- "That sucks, but at least you have a cool-looking gray bit in your hair now! it honestly complements your already gorgeous h/c hair."

Y/N- "Awe, thank you Niki, i appreciate that."

I said, looking back up.

/~Smol time skip~\

We had finished most of the pie and were now just mindlessly giggling about random things. I had been there for about 2 hours from what I guessed, and finally realized I should probably get going.

Y/N- "Well, Niki, this was super fun, but I need to go find my boyfr-...Sam. and my cat. So I gotta go."

She smirked at me and wiggled her eyebrows.

Niki- "alright, that's fine."

She smiled at me and walked me to the door. Before I left though, she whispered to me,

Niki- "go get your mans."

I blushed and pushed her away lightly.

Y/N- "H-hush."

I started walking away, but could still feel her eyes on me. This was gonna be interesting.

Hey, so i wrote all of this during school so I'm sorry if it seems rushed lol. I also just realized that i only finished the second chapter for the '10k milestone' and we now have 13k. C A L M.
Anyways, i want to go back to eating my hot pocket, so I'm gonna post this now. If there are any spelling mistakes or anything please comment it so i can fix it, i want to eat food and am to lazy to proofread right now.
