Ace's POV

Time was on ticking in my head, questioning the amount of days we had left. The moments of wondering if I should appreciate his company so far, or to end it all by leaving him behind. Lately he has been all lovely dovey which is making it harder for me, since we do go far back but I feel like this notorious monster of Beach will prey on me again. Seeing him soft sane side of him really does bring back past memories and emotions, but the flashes of that violent stare as I was watched by a few whilst suffering.

To think this is the place that all my hopes and dreams in life became a nightmare in a instant. Seeing the place before me standing tall, shadowing our bodies in darkness with no sign of age on the exterior of the building. Never would I imagine facing my fears with the person who caused this fear to come alive, now standing beside me.

This place.

This nightmare.

Was the school.

The place where is all had started.

My body froze up before going into a mental frenzy of emotions and psychological pain. Clenching my head, looping my hair around my fingers as I created fists that held my hair with a pulling motion. The pain tingling my scalp whilst I breakdown between what I was and what I've become. Seeing flashes of that day hit me, all I could see was red.

"SUGURU HIDE!!!" Screaming at the top of my lungs fighting my inner self, feeling the wrath of Mira's doing as I was unaware of the techniques she's used in the past could change me so much.

Maybe it wasn't really me playing the heart games?

Maybe it was Mira's control that had me black out during those moments bringing the worst in me?

"Y/N, breathe. Come on, it can't be bad right?"

His voice faded away, whilst the unknown voices echoed inside my brain calling out to me.

"Run! Please!"

But just when it was all going to turn black, I felt a pair of arms wrapped around me. It was warm and gentle, it was soothing. Feeling his head resting on me with his face hidden by neck whilst my body fights this sudden shock of pain.

"Listen to me, please. I am not leaving you behind. Look if I knew you would be like this, I would of not brought you here. Maybe you came here to find something that should not be found. You need to let this go, and live in the world we do now. I am sorry. "
