Ace's POV

Next morning.

"Good morning."

Sensing his presence lingering over me with a stare that only a fool could fall for, I decided to start the morning by avoiding too much contact with him since I need to not let feelings get the best of me especially since I don't have full control of my emotions and second is because time's ticking away meaning that it's close to the time I have to decide whether or not he should be killed or not during our fight at the rose garden.

Hold on...

That wasn't part of the rules was it?

Or was it?

Ugh. I don't remember but I do remember we have to fight at the rose garden where Mira loves to enjoy her teas admiring the beautiful scent of roses that surrounded her in the garden. The garden she proudly planted in this cruel world herself as Hatter took on being the leader of things.

"Wake up. I know you can hear me."

As I continued pretending to be asleep, he began to give me comfort once more.
He leant closely to my ear, feeling his voice gently carress my eardrum as he began to try grab my full attention. So silence was best way to deal with this man.

So I thought.

He placed his hand on me cheek caressing it gently with the slightest strokes of his thumb against my scarred skin. He kept giggling to himself admiring me from up close which is something he never gets to do in silence. It was comforting but still uncomfortable as I begin to fight the past's nightmare he caused me.

"You're really something."

He was so different around me compared to other girls, but I can't let that change my approach on this stupid game!

"You know. Years ago, I would always look for you and search for you when no one else would. I would always regret our last moment together in the real world, but here we are reunited once again. Something I've always wanted."

Trying to ignore his words were much harder than expected, if only I didn't learn Japanese then I could of easily been able to avoid this situation.

I'm scared I'll black out again if I feel some sort of emotion.

"You know them dumb fucks who bullied us? Well most of them are dead already except one. I did it for us. Our revenge! Right?"

He really thinks that's gonna make me open my eyes when he started off sweet but then turned it dark again.

"Y/N?"

Hm?

"When we get back to the real world together, can we restart life again? I will get help and you should too."
