Mira's POV

Sipping the earl grey tea under the moonlight sky whilst observing the stars glistening its beauty for the world to see. Smiling gently with elegance before seeing a shadow figure hovering over me with urgency.

"Kano... Oh Kano. "

Smirking to myself in satisfaction realising it's currently a player that I've been admiring for their insanity amongst the games. Looking down to their level witnessing the sinister aura before me.

Suguru.

Seeing him before me was indeed a pleasant surprise since I was aware of his knowledge about me and my weak pawn, Ace. Besides I did wonder how she is doing without me.

"End the games now! I know who you are! " He yelled in my face showing his feature from amongst the shadows. He shoved the phone to my chest in anger and frustration with force.

"END THE GAME NOW!!!" Still seated on my chair placed on the right side of the table in the meeting room surrounded by wooden architecture and a white board filled with images of each of the card's game levels, except one.

The joker.

The hardest game of all. But of course I had to choose two participants who have nothing to lose, so I thought...

Not realising the damage I've put myself in. It can take only one of them to expose my true self to the other members, especially Hatter.

To see how close Suguru and Ace has become since bumping into eachother is indeed quite a show for myself and dealers. We have such high expectations for the outcome, infact the bets are going off the roof! The highest bet is one I wish to come true.

"You do know, " taking a sip once more before proceeding "the outcome people are hoping for is one that will benefit everyone including yourself. Right?"

He frowned at what I had said. He looked confused wondering what I meant by the outcome.

Well currently the dealers are all relying on Ace to kill Suguru since he's too much of a burden. Where as my bet is indeed a surprise to some since I choose the players.

My bet is

That the identity of Ace Kano is terminated for good.

I want my bet to count and I want my pawn to sacrifice herself.

Did she really believe I gave a shit about some fake citizen on my homeland claiming to be one of us?

Ha! Ridiculous.

She isn't even loved by her own family which is why she choose to trust others in her vulnerable state too easily. She's stupid. But watching her grow within the time here has been quite satisfying, seeing the power of influence take it action on erasing everything she had known.
