I woke up to the sound of my phone. Kinusot-kusot ko pa ang aking mga mata at humikab. I checked my phone and saw Aria bombarded me with messages.

Aria the prettiest BFF:

RISE AND SHINE!!

ICSD TODAY!!

WAKE UP, SLEEPYHEAD!!

Make sure to wear your best outfit.

P.S. It needs to be blue, okay? Love you!

I silently laughed at her texts. Excited na excited talaga 'tong si Aria ever since nag-start ang preparation for ICSD. Excited na rin siya sa performance nila sa 2nd day of the event. Part siya ng dance troupe and required silang sumali sa cheerleading competition ng event.

Si Ash ay part ng volleyball team men's division. Si Eunice naman ay isa sa mga head ng sports department. Maraming nagsasabi na overqualified na raw siyang sumali sa mga sports tuwing ICSD dahil lahat ay natatalo 'pag si Eunice ang naglaro. Zeph's part of the basketball team kung saan kasama rin si Gabriel at ang mga kaibigan niya.

I went to the bathroom to take a shower. I wore a blue cardigan paired with dark blue jeans. I tied my hair with a blue headband to show my school spirit. I also brought my sling bag dahil cellphone at wallet lang ang dadalhin ko at wala naman masyadong gagawin sa campus.

Pagkarating ko sa university ay marami ng bus ang nakaparada sa parking lot galing sa iba't-ibang universities. Nandiyan ang Lincoln State University, Washington University, East Nixon University, at marami pang iba.

Lumapit ako sa class assistant ng aming room at nagsulat ng attendance. Wala naman akong masyadong gagawin at maghihintay lamang ako sa laro ng mga kaibigan ko.

I saw Aria talking with one of our schoolmates. She's wearing a sky blue dress. She immediately shifted her blue eyes on me and smiled. She strutted like an actress walking down the red carpet.

"Hi, BFF!" sabay yakap sa 'kin. "You look so beautiful, as always!"

"Thank you, Aria! Ikaw rin ang ganda mo!"

We went to the auditorium for the opening remarks of the event and to welcome the students coming from different universities. We saw Eunice guiding the students to their seats. She's wearing a blue polo shirt and a blue bandana on her head.

She waved at us and then motioned her phone, telling us to use it so we can communicate with her. May tinuro siya sa likuran namin at napabaling kami roon. Nakita namin si Zeph at Ash na magkasama. Zeph greeted us with a two-finger salute and Ash waved at us using only his fingers.

The program went on smoothly. After a few hours, the most awaited event will start. Napagdesisyunan muna namin ni Aria na maglibot sa loob ng campus.

"Oh! Eunice texted me that she's at the canteen. She's with Zeph and Ash, too," Aria said.

Dumiretso kami sa canteen. We saw Eunice, together with Zeph and Ash, chatting at the table. We hurriedly sit with them dahil miss na miss na rin namin ang isa't-isa.

"Hey!" Zeph greeted, flashing his boyish grin.

I sat next to him and he ruffled my hair like he always do. Sinimangutan ko siya at tumawa lang siya sa reaksyon ko.

We decided to order food while chatting non-stop. Pinapakita sa amin ni Ash ang kanyang vlogging camera para sa event mamaya. He even told Eunice to record him while he's playing para makita ang kanyang pangmalakasang spike.

"Are you going to watch the games, Nyla?" Eunice asked.

I nodded. "Oo naman! Biggest fan niyo kaya ako!"
