AT THREE O'CLOCK ON the following afternoon, Grace found herself in her room getting ready along with Ginny and Gabrielle, as the three of them were going to be Fleur's bridesmaid of her wedding. All three of them were dressed in pale gold dress which reached till their ankle. Grace had crown-braided her hair and the let the rest of her red lock fall behind her back. She had braided both Gabrielle and Ginny's hair in the same hairstyle; the two had specifically requested it. Grace had managed to transfigure her extended bag into small black purse, barely noticeable at her side.
Fleur looked like a complete fairytale princess once she had gotten ready. She was wearing a very simple white dress and seemed to be emitting a strong, silvery glow. Though Grace's Aunt Muriel had still found something to criticize about Fleur (her french accent) as she put the goblin-made tiara in her long silvery white blonde hair. Fleur had scowled when she wasn't looking but said nothing.
"And you should've put your hair in a bun, Freya, it doesn't look good." said Aunt Muriel, turning her red-rimmed eyes at Grace. Since she had found Grace's real name, she had refused to call her from her old one. "Your hair reaches your waist, and such long hair shouldn't be left open."
Grace resisted her urge to roll her eyes and gave her a tight-lipped smile.
"And Ginerva, same goes for you," she barked at Ginny. "
Just at the moment Hermione walked in the room. She was wearing a floaty, lilac-colored dress with matching high heels; her hair was sleek and shiny.
"And who are you?" Aunt Muriel barked at Hermione.
Hermione looked slightly taken aback at the tone.
"This is my friend, Hermione Granger, Aunt Muriel." said Grace.
"Oh dear, is this the Muggle-born?" her eyes narrowed. "You have bad posture and skinny ankles."
"Hermione and I'll see the guests, Aunt Muriel," said Grace taking Hermione's hand. "We'll be going then."
"Return quickly, Grace." said Fleur. "Don't be late."
Grace nodded at her and then left the room with Hermione quickly.
"An old bat, Muriel is," said Grace to Hermione. "Don't be offended by her, she criticizes everyone. Just before she said Fleur's french accent was horrible and told me and Ginny that our hairstyle looks bad."
"Had she ever said anything nice about anyone?" asked Hermione.
"Yeah, she praises Bill sometimes," said Grace. "She loves him most, you know."
