I was born in farmer's family to two wonderful people: Kára and Njord Abilðgárd. My father, Njord, was a farmer and also a warrior for the Jarl.
(A Jarl is a word for an earl or king)
My Mother, Kára, was a shield-maiden along with being a home maker. I also had two younger brothers, whom I loved dearly.
I learned the use of magic by going to a school in our town. And I was trained for fighting without magic by my parents. I know it must seem very odd for a witch or wizard to fight with weapons instead of their wands, but in our times it wasn't. We used wand to fight wizards and witches, but we used weapons like an axe and swords to fight the muggles. It was only fair.

I know that as you were growing up, the darkness in the world was increasing, the evil taking slowly taking over everything.
The darkness was there when I was growing up too. I grew up hearing the stories about a woman named Glyrna who was slowly taking over kingdoms in the north and was wiping out everyone whom she deemed unfit in her eyes: the non-magic people. According to her she was fulfilling nature's will by eradicating the weak. Her ideology was that the strongest survives while the weak dies. In her thinking Purebloods were born to rule over everyone who isn't a pureblood; that they were a superior race and everyone -- halfblood, muggleborns, and muggles -- were a lower race.
