"The mighty ZIM has finally arrived!!! Be honored that I have decided to show up to class today!!" The student, apparently Zim, practically screams.

"SIT DOWN ZIM!" The teacher screeches, sending the boy in a panic to slam into his seat.

Zim... Zim? Have you heard that name before? You surely would have since you guys (you assume) are the same age in human years. He is certainly loud for an Irken though. He seems so familiar though you can't put your claw on it...

Wait.

WAIT.

Invader Zim.

That one Irken that royally screwed up Operation Impending Doom 1. The one that had caused Almighty Tallest Miyuki and Almighty Tallest Spork's death. You don't really remember Tallest Spork, but Tallest Miyuki was the one Irken that allowed you to live.

She was the one who saw potential in you. She took charge and stopped the Control Brains from deleting you. She was the only one who wanted you alive despite you being defective.

You were hers.

And Zim took her away from you.

You hated Zim. He took your one true family-like member away like a snap of his claws. She was so kind to you. The Tallest's are so fond of you because she claimed you. Then she was gone. All because of Zim.

It took all of your power not to rip his throat out.

You sit, fuming, as you glare holes into the side of his stupid head. He glances in your direction, catching a full eye of your rage. He smirks haughtily and turns his attention back to the teacher.

It seems he read your damn mind.

You are pissed. How could he do that? With no remorse even? He will pay. Oh how he will pay. That little bastard has no idea what's coming for him.

"(Y/N)"

You feel a tap on your shoulder.

You slowly turn toward the sound, trying not to flip your shit.

"Are you okay?"

It's just Dib. You try to put on a calm face.

"Yeah, I'm fine! Just thinking about stuff. Alien stuff." That's only half true, but it works.

"Oh! Speaking of aliens, th-"

"DIB! SHUT UP!"

Agent Mothman— uh, Dib, glares at the teacher.

"I'll tell you later."

~~~
You're falling asleep in the gross classroom when the lunch bell rings. It's so odd. Irkens don't need sleep but you're starting to desire it. Anyway you're woken by someone shaking your shoulders.
"(Y/N). (Y/N)!" Dib jostles you.
"Yeah?" you ask sleepily.
"It's time for lunch! I have so much to tell you!!"
Dib drags you out of the classroom and into the cafeteria. You go with him to get your... lunch. It looks more like cement. Wait. Did it just move?
Holy shit. That shit's moving.
You opt out of eating today, reminding yourself to bring things to eat tomorrow. Irkens don't have the need to consume anything. They do it just because they want to. But you have to fit in somehow!
Walking with Dib, you encounter a girl who is close to your age in human years. She doesn't look up when you sit down in front of her.
"Oh yeah. (Y/N), this is my sister Gaz!" He politely introduces you two. She grunts in acknowledgment. She doesn't talk much. You like her already.
You've actually met Gaz before; you two spoke for a bit while Dib went to go do stuff away from his computer. You knew she liked video games, but that's about it.
You met Dib's suspicious gaze when you didn't eat anything. You make up an excuse on the spot.
"I'm allergic to a lot of stuff. My.. mom makes me a special lunch most of the time but she forgot. Her and my dad are always working!!" You nervously laugh. Satisfied, Dib returns to... whatever he was eating.
You begin dozing off in the cafeteria when you suddenly hear a loud wack on your table. You look up in a panic, when your (e/c) eyes meet... purple ones?
Oh boy, here we go.
"What is your issue, worm-baby??" Zim growls in your face.
You get a good look at him now. His wig is in terrible shape; it's practically sliding off his head. He didn't make any effort to hide the Irken insignia on his uniform and—
HIS PAK IS COMPLETELY EXPOSED?!
Is he even TRYING to blend in?! This is absolutely embarrassing for the entire Irken race! Before you can say anything Dib jumps in.
"Excuse me, Zim." he spits "(Y/N) is sitting with me. Leave us alone."
"Hah! Foolish human! You dare attempt to boss Zim around? I'll have you know that-"
"Dib, isn't this the alien you were talking about?" you intentionally interrupt, upset with his lazy attempt at a disguise. You watch as Zim's eyes dilate and his expression falls. You smile and raise an eyebrow.
"Why are you so tense? Is Dib actually right?" You smirk in the same way he did earlier today. His expression shifts to uneasy anger.
"Dib-stink! How dare you turn the new... appendage against me!" He turns to you, and grabs your hands. You try to yank them away but he has you in an iron grip. This guy is STRONG.
"New kid! I am not an alien! I am a regular bag of flesh like you!"
Yeah, right.
"Okay, yeah, sure whatever Zim. Just leave me alone" You roll your eyes. He finally releases your hands and you look at the claw marks he left. Ah, you are bleeding profusely. That's not ideal.
Trying not to scream in anger, you hiss at the pain and grasp your hand. You stand up from your seat.
"I'm going to the nurse" you announce, straining your voice, and you make your way out of the cafeteria. You glare at Zim as you leave.
While walking away you can faintly hear Dib and Zim having a screaming match, but you couldn't care less.
You rummage in your bag for any first aid supplies. You can't use your PAK in case it will raise suspicion. Sighing, you find a measly bandage roll and wrap it around both of your hands. You rip the remaining roll off with your sharp teeth and put it away for later. The bell rings and you head back to your classroom.
(Ayyyy first longer chapter! I'm starting to get into the swing of things so I hope the few of you who read this continue to enjoy!)
