Sitting in the common room —both on separate couches— Draco and Hermione waited for their friends to enter the common room and bless them with their presence.

Easter Holidays were over, and that meant that everyone was coming back to Hogwarts.

And all of that was enough to remind Hermione that the year was almost over. And she wondered what would happen when Draco and her left Hogwarts. She got him the mobile phone and the channeled notebook so that they wouldn't lose contact of each other, and surely Draco would make good use of her presents. They are together now, as in boyfriend and girlfriend; it would make sense for the both of them to contact each other.

She really hopes that she is right. She had never been in a serious relationship before, and she had always thought that it was going to be Ron, but she was so wrong. Hermione's heart would never fold onto anyone's heart but Draco. They were puzzle pieces, and the both of them would be incomplete without the other. That much she knew.

Hermione sighed as she looked over at Draco. He was reading his book, but when her eyes settled on him, his eyes moved upwards; meeting her own. It was almost like an instinct; he always felt it —in his heart and in his core and in his whole body— when her eyes were burning through him. He always felt it to the point that his eyes forced themselves to look up and meet hers halfway. The both of them were each other's missing pieces.

His eyes held a smile, and it looked like he was about to say something when suddenly someone —or rather, someones— entered the common room.

"Missed me?!"

Blaise Zabini was the first one to make his dramatic entrance. Before Draco or Hermione had the chance to humble him, Blaise went on, "who am I kidding? Of course you did!" And with that, he threw himself on one of the couches, taking up the whole space as he stretched.

Draco rolled his eyes and Hermione smiled as she watched the others enter the common room. Harry, Ron, Pansy, Daphne, Ginny, and Theo came into view, and Hermione furrowed her eyebrows as she looked them over.

"Where is Neville? And— oh, my god—" Hermione gasped, and Draco followed her gaze until his eyes landed on— a brown haired Ginevra?! What in the hell?

"Gin! Your hair?!" Hermione exclaimed, standing up and walking closer to Ginny so that she could have a closer look at Ginny's —apparently— brown hair.

Ginny averted her gaze and glared at Blaise, who was smiling cheekily and clearly trying not to laugh. Hermione looked at Blaise and asked, "what did you do?"

Blaise shrugged as Ginny fumed silently. "Nothing a bath wouldn't fix, preferably a shower that's too big for only one person."

Ron cursed and almost charged at Blaise but Daphne's hand quickly shot out in front of him, stopping him in his place.

Ron scowled. "I deserve to at least punch him once."

"No," Ginny said, "I am the only one who deserves to beat the shit out of him right now."

Ginny glared at Blaise so hard that her glare could have melted ice if there was any. Harry cleared his throat before speaking. "So, change of subject, how have you been, Mione?" And with that, he gave her a hug. Draco rolled his eyes and watched as everyone took seats. Pansy sat next to him and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before smiling at Harry as he pulled away from Hermione.
