POV: Aurelia

I come home and nobody is there. Claire will be with Timo again. She said she was going to stay with Timo for a whole week. So here I am, alone on the couch. It's half past nine in the evening and I still have to eat. I decide to turn on the tv and watch friends. While I am thinking about what I can eat, I look up and see Monica (character from friends) cooking.

Damn, we have the same idea. I look down and see my pizza socks. Okay, now I feel like having pizza. I take my phone and choose a pizza then I click on order. Ready. It's pretty chilly here so I better take a blanket. I pull my legs up and wrap it around me. Much better. I decide to send Kai a message while I wait for my pizza.

Your true gentleman<3

                                      Hey, what are you doing?

Nothing I'm only watching a bit of TV, do you wanna FaceTime?

Yeah sure!

Immediately after that message I see Kai's contact name appear. I accept it and see him sitting on the couch in a hoodie. "Hey" I say as I wave at him.

"Hey how are you?" he asks in a sleepy voice. "Good, and how are you?" I say as I smile at him. "Good too, just a bit tired" he says as he chuckles. "Sorry, maybe we should stop calling a bit earlier then".

"No, no, I want to talk on the phone a bit longer" he responds quickly.

"Alright, I have to tell you something-" I say, but am interrupted by the bell ringing. "Sorry my pizza is here, wait a minute, I'll be back" I put my phone on the table and walk to the door. The man hands me my pizza and I pay him.

"Thank you and have a nice day" I say to the pizza guy. I close the door and quickly walk back to Kai. "I got pizzaaaaa!" I shout enthusiastically as I show my pizza box to Kai. "You're making me hungry, even though I just ate my lasagna" he says as he groans. "Too bad for you" I say teasingly.

They had both forgotten that she had just wanted to say something, until she was interrupted by the bell. But that didn't matter, because they talked until 11 o'clock in the evening and you can see that their bond strengthens every time they see each other.

I wake up and hear movement. Claire must finally be home after those seven days. I walk downstairs in my pyjamas and see her sitting there at the dining table. "Good morning" she says cheerfully. I just give her a dead stare and sit down right across from her.

"So when, were you going to tell me that Timo is a famous footballer and everyone from that party" I say as I go straight to the point.

She chokes on her drink and says "Uh, well, I thought you knew something about football, but apparently not, it was kind of funny to see your confused face" she says as she chuckles. "What, that really wasn't funny, and if it wasn't for Kai, I might never have knowne I say with slight pain in my heart.

"Look, I'm sorry, I can buy you cake to make it up to you" she says as she smirks. Hmm that doesn't sound bad, with food you can never go the wrong way. "Deal" I say as I smirk and take a slice of bread.

Claire and I have eaten and gotten ready and now we are in the car on our way to the shop for cake. Normally I had to work, but they called me to say that enough people were already working, so I didn't have to come. Days like this are fun, but sometimes unexpected.

"We're here" Claire says as she unbuckles her seatbelt. "Yesss, you're going to buy me cake" I shout happily. "Yeah, yeah whatever" she says rolling her eyes. I give her a playful slap on the arm and get out. "Soooo, how are you and Timo doing?"

"Good, very good actually, but what have I heard about you and Kai" she says wiggling her eyebrows. "Oh stop it, we're just friends" I say as I grab a shopping basket.

"They all say that"

"No, I'm really serious, just keep walking"

"Okay, okay" Claire says holding her hands up defensively and walking forward.

We walk out with more than just a cake, we have a whole year's supply if you look at it that way. "Can you load everything into the car already? Timo is calling me" says Claire with an apologetic look.

"Yeah, no problem" I say as I head for the car. I load everything and get in. She opens the door and says "He didn't really have anything important to say, but I heard that you are coming to watch the Chelsea match!" she says all cheerful as she shakes my shoulders.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, oh well, it's not that big of a deal" I say as I shrug my shoulders. "It is, I still have to teach you all about football in 1 week" she sighs dramatically.

"And have you got a jersey yet?" she says in panic. "Yes, don't worry, okay?" I say, hoping she doesn't ask from whom. "Okay, okay focus Claire" she says to herself as she calms down. Drama queen. "Let's go home" I say interrupting her in her self-talk moment. "Yeah good idea" she grabs her keys and drives off.

We're finally home, so that means time for cake. I take a knife, plates and cutlery and put them on the table. "Claire, if you want a piece of cake, you're going to have to get here quick!" I shouts so she hears me from downstairs. "Yes, I'm coming!" she calls back.

I sigh and sit down at the table. I can hear the sound of her footsteps clearly as I start cutting the cake. "I'm here, I'm here" she says exhausted. "Calm down" I say as I chuckle and put her piece of cake on her plate. "Thanks".

We both eat it in silence and enjoy the cake.
