a/n Since, I still haven't finished writing the last chapter for smile and am still working on it, here are some parodies of what could've happened after Link's confession. Btw, this isn't cannon, enjoy yall~!

Alternate ending 2:
"There-there's this girl that I like..." Link said, dropping his gaze to the ground and his usually composed demeanor, changed. You saw a faint flush on his cheeks, coupled with a hesitant expression.
"Huh, Link?" You said, comprehending what he just said and taken aback by the sudden change in subject.
"She has caught my eye since the start of our classes and I've liked her since then." Link said fondly, with a wistful look in his eyes.
"Link, by any chance, does her name start with (Your name's initial letter) and end with (Your name's last letter)?" You asked in a confident manner, placing a hand on the bench and slightly leaning closer to Link.
"Yes, actually!" Link exclaimed, blown away by your statement. Then perhaps, did you know? He thought.
"Not to sound vain, Link, but is the girl you like, me?" You queried, assertively.
"(Y/N)... How did you know!?" Link cried out, genuinely astounded by your astuteness.
"I've been observing the way you communicate, Link. You see, as I feel my brain enlarge from my analysis, I noticed that you get very bad at discourse when you're nervous or feel any type of intense emotions." You said in a witty tone, feeling your brain throb from the calculations of possibilities you came up with, in a matter of seconds.
"Wow, (Y/N). I love your sexy brain." (a/n does anyone get the reference!?) Link commented, feeling in awe, "I guess I've found my other half who understands me, huh?"
"I guess you have." You affirmed with a nod and a hearty smile. You and Link gazed at each other in admiration and deep understanding.
"Link?" You called out.
"Yes?" Link responded, sternly focusing all his attention on you.
"Let's get married!" You confidently and excitedly claimed.
"Oh my gosh! I DO!" Link energetically blurted out, jumping up from the bench and directing an affectionate gaze at you.
You then carried Link in bridal style, while people stared at the ridiculousness of your antics, but, you couldn't care less. You and him eloped to secretly get married in a private island.

"She has caught my eye since the start of our classes and I've liked her since then." Link said fondly, with a wistful look in his eyes.
"Link, why are you telling me this?" You asked, starting to get irritated. You where honestly offended that he was talking and thinking about another girl when he was still dating you. What was even the point of asking you out? As a replacement? A fill-in?
"U-um, it's because..."
"Why don't you confess to the girl you like, huh? HOW DARE YOU TALK ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS FOR SOME OTHER GIRL WHILE WE'RE ON OUR DATE YOU @*$&$!%#$&@!!!" Your cussing could make even sailors blush from shame and embarassment.
You hit and pummeled endlessly at Link, letting out a string of curses at him. Curiously, people stared at both your direction; at the brewing commotion.
That night, Link was found driving home with a black eye and a broken heart. You found yourself sent to the police station for charges of assault.
