You saw a faint light emanate from behind your eyelids. Slowly, you opened and fluttered your eyes a few times. Lifting your head slightly to gaze at the window, peeks of sunlight escaped the gaps of the drawn curtains. The birds faintly chirping from a distance.

It was morning.

You turned your head and looked at Link's still asleep state. You stared at the peaks and curvatures of his face accentuated by the early morning light, his beautiful long lashes and blonde hair glistening, and his slightly agape pink lips that drew small breaths. He was a beauty to look at. You tenderly kissed his nose and then his cheeks.

Link stirred groggily and groaned lazily before smiling at you.

"Morning." He rasped out, opening one eye to stare at you mischievously, pulling you snug to his chest. You let out a quiet giggle and snuggled into his chest, circling your arms around him.

"Good morning, Link..." Fixing your chin on his chest, you met his gaze with a small smile. The sounds of the early morning made for a very cozy atmosphere in your room. Having him in your arms right now, it felt right, it felt like nothing else in the world mattered right now.

You nuzzled your face into his chest and let out a contented sigh. Pulling him closer and basking in his warmth. You both stayed in that position for a while, holding each other tenderly.

A moment later, Link immediately fell back asleep, letting out steady breaths. He was incredibly endearing. You carefully removed yourself from his embrace but, he stirred once again and tightened his embrace on you.

"Don't go."

You smiled at his childishness.

"You're such a dork. I need to get up to cook breakfast." You replied in a hushed tone, while ruffling his hair.

"No. Stay here awhile more." He clung to you, and placed his chin over your head, engulfing you in his warmth.

"I concede, Link," You smiled at his behavior and let out a sigh, "You're such an adorable, big baby."

"Hey!" He placed both his hands on the sides of your face and turned your gaze towards him, "A big baby only for you." He then placed a kiss on the crown of your head.

"Only for you."

"Of course, babe, no need to get worked up about it." You laughed at his ridiculous statement and shook your head. "Now, let me get up."

"No!" He held you by the waist. "No, I won't let you!" You stayed quiet for a moment, setting your ear by his chest and listening to his steady heartbeat.

"Why are you so clingy today?"

"Can't a man just enjoy some time with his woman?" He said, kissing you on the cheek.

"Thats not a problem, Linkie." You said while, meeting his gaze. "But, seriously, I'm starving." And as if on cue, Link's stomach growled, "And I see that you are too." You gazed at Link mischievously, tapping his nose with your finger.

Gently extricating yourself from him, you then walked over the window and parted the curtains. The light of the morning lit the once dim room. You turned back to look at Link,

"Good morning, Link~" You said in a sweet voice and let out a snicker.

"ARGH! THE LIGHT IS TOO BRIGHT! ITS BLINDING ME!" Link exclaimed dramatically, holding a hand to shield his eyes from the light, "I love you (Y/N), and I always will..." He said unhappily, stretching his hand towards you before exaggeratedly collapsing back into the bed and letting out a fake dying breath. His head faced towards you, with closed eyes, mouth open and his tongue lolled to the side.
