(Y/N) POV
We walked to the bullhead and sure enough Indigo was walking out.
"We did it!" Neo tells her as Indigo looks confused for a split second before she remembers.
"Oh, Yeah....that," she smiles as a boy suddenly walks beside her
"Thanks for helping me," he says before leaving to go on his own path.
"Who is that?" I ask her as she shrugs.
"I think his name was Oscar," she mumbles before she starts leading us back to our dorm.
"So, show me this dream of yours," she says once we arrive in our room.
I did what I practiced with Neo.
Slowly but surely I was able to paint the dream in Indigo's head.
It's hard to describe how I do it...I just think about what I want to communicate to the person and then put it in their head.
"I see," Indigo says thinking.
"This white man...says that he knows you better than you think...this must mean it was someone close to you right?" Indigo asks as I nod
"Yes, I came to that as well...but I don't know who," I say
"Ok, let's list the people who know you well, Me, Neo, David, our friends of course....Ozpin, Kelly maybe? Your parents of course," Indigo says as my heart stops a little at the last part.
I've gone through multiple lists in my head but I always had a way to disprove them as being the man...but my parents...they haven't crossed my mind before.
Indigo noticed the look on my face when she finished
"What about your parents?" She asks.
I haven't really talked about them much to anyone...so this is a first.
"My dad...should be in prison...as for my Mom...I don't know. The last time I saw her was a long time ago," I say as Indigo nods
"So basically, the only two people who know you well, and the people that could be this white man...are your parents?" She asks.
In our discussion, we found ourselves sitting down and facing each other as we talked.
Neo just sat beside me and stayed quiet.
"The white man said he came from the future," I tell her as she nods
"Yes...there's that too," she says
"Plus. What happened to make the future change? In theory, if something isn't changed from someone from the future, or influenced in some way, then it will never change...what caused this to happen?" She asks herself
"Ozpin, said that he had to take my semblance so that the world wouldn't end, when he failed, that was when I had that dream," I tell her
"Ok, so when the world ended in this other timeline...maybe Ozpin was successful when he tried to take your semblance," Indigo says
"Maybe," I mutter
"Can I give my thoughts?" Neo asks Indigo and I look at her.
We remained silent and Neo started to start.
"If Ozpin knew that taking (Y/N)s semblance was gonna save the world...why would it do the opposite?" She asks
"Maybe Ozpin made a mistake...maybe (Y/N) is most suited for his semblance," Indigo reasons
"I don't think Ozpin would make a mistake like that," Neo points out.
She has a point, Ozpin is pretty cautious.
"And furthermore, you say that without the actions or influence of the people from the future...nothing will change...so who from the future is changing things?" Neo asks
Indigo remained silent for a while as she was thinking.
"I don't know," she says defeated.
"You say that the dream was erased...that the future is a different one now...we should have to change anything if everything will be ok in the future," Neo points out as we all nod.
"Good point," I say as Neo smiles
"Yeah, I think we are overthinking it," Indigo says
"Yeah...probably," I agree
"Well... What next?" I ask as Indigo sinisterly smiles
"You two still have homework to do right?" She asks as both Neo's and My mouth opens wide...oh no...not homework.
"You need to get it done sometime," Indigo points out
"Yeah, yeah," I mutter as I notice it's dark outside now
"Where is David?" I ask as Indigo looks at me amused.
"He's with Velvet again...probably gonna sleep over again," she says as I shake my head
"I swear we are gonna have baby rabbits soon," I say as Indigo laughs
"I doubt it, David is too shy to try anything at the moment," Indigo says as we switch into our pyjamas and then go to sleep.
Dream
"I didn't expect this so soon," a white man says as I'm surrounded in a white room.
"What's up this time?" I ask as his facial expression darkens
"I fear, this timeline is reversing course...you are headed in the wrong direction,"
"What do you mean?" I ask him as he sighs
"Find our parents...you'll see why," he says before disappearing again.
