"Come out...come out little slave," I hear a man yell as I hid behind one of the many shipping containers.

"You're making a big mistake...the owner isn't gonna like this,"

I just need to stay calm...stay calm...stay calm.

"And you've seen what happens when he agrees...just ask your friend...oh right...she's dead."

My eyes flicker up as the bullhead jumps from turbulence.

"Are you ok?" Oscar asks beside me

"Huh? Yeah, I'm fine," I tell him as he nods

"You seemed a little restless," he points out

"I'm always like that," I say as I shiver a little from the memory.

"Really?" Oscar asks as I nod

"Yeah," I say with a little blush.

"Is everyone sleeping?" I ask as the bullhead is dead silent. Sure enough, mostly everyone is sleeping...

Good, we should use all the rest we can take.

"Just the pilot and us awake," Oscar says as I nod

"I can see that," I smirk a little. It didn't last before a frown appeared back on my face.

I haven't remembered my past at all for a while...dreaming of it...it exhausts me

"Are you sure you are all good?" Oscar asks

"Yeah," I lie as he looks at me doubtfully.

"Ok..maybe not so much," I say as he looks like he is ready to listen.

I haven't told my team yet...but I was kidnapped when I was younger, the kidnappers thought they could hold me for ransom against my family...well, my family didn't pay," I begin.

"So instead, they sold me to a slave trader,"

"It was horrible...it was a struggle...when you weren't starving...you were protecting yourself from the guards...I watched them...I watched them take away so many girls...and then they would come back with a dark look in their face," I continue as Oscars face pales

"I wasn't touched...I had a friend that protected me...but they killed her...and that was the last straw,"

"I found a way out and I ran. It was tough at first...but I eventually found Master...he was kind...he and his wife took me into their family, and here I am," I finish as Oscar takes a moment to think about it

"Wow...I would have never have known," he says as I nod

"I don't really talk much about it," I point out.

"Yeah, true that," he mutters

"I'm sorry for your friend," he says

"Thanks,"

"Where's your family?" I ask him changing the subject.

"I live with my aunt...we actually live around Mistral," he says

"Oh," I mutter as something pops up in my mind

"Why did you come to Beacon? And why are you helping us? You have no reason," I ask him as he takes a moment to think.

"I went to Beacon because my aunt wanted me to attend a huntsman academy," he tells me

"As for why I'm helping you, I would love to say I want to help save the world...but I would be lying," he says as I raise a brow

"If I'm being honest...I'm helping out so I can see you more," he says as his face turns red along with mine.

"Wow...I've never had anyone say that to me before," I say as I start twirling my hair

"I'm sorry that it came from nowhere," Oscar says

"No, no, no, it's fine," I tell him.

"If I'm being honest...I like being around you too," I admit.

I've only known him for a couple of days...but he's different.

He talks to me.

He listens

He tells me his opinions

And he has this mysterious vibe about him

I like it

We both blush at our sudden confessions.

"Looks like Indigo finally found a partner," David says with one eye open and a huge grin.

"You saw it all?" I ask blushing hard.

"Only the end," he admits as I feel like I'm going to die from embarrassment.

"Live with it," David says before shutting both eyes again.

"Well that's that," I say to Oscar as he looks distracted.

"Oscar?" I ask as he snaps back.

"Yeah," he says looking at me with his olive eyes.

"What do you say? Wanna start something after the world is saved!" I ask with a smile

He chuckles before saying, " Sure why not."

Looks like I won't be lonely for much longer.

Oscar POV

You know...I don't like this idea

Well, what was I supposed to do!

I don't know, maybe find a way to turn her down?

I can't do that!

What? Why not?

I'm a teenaged boy...and look at her

I look at the Indigo-haired beauty as she thinks to herself.

She gives off an aura of confidence and maturity

Yeah...well she was my past student...it feels weird for me

You didn't think it was weird when you tried to kill (Y/N)?

Listen...everything is going according to my plan
