The drive to Manchester was long haul. I was used to it but it was draining and so I took a pit stop in Birmingham to go and meet my family and friends for a little while.
I frequently went to Manchester from London but on this particular journey, I felt anxious. There was a part of me that still didn't sit right with the tension between Phil and I.
I pulled up to his apartment complex noticing a different car than normal. There weren't many people and so I knew everyone by heart. Strangely enough, I also saw a girl. I must admit she was quite beautiful, a petite body, tall with blonde hair. She must have been a new resident as I had never seen her before.
