"Lunch with me?" Armin A.

A/n: heyo, this is an AOT short story. Armin x black!reader. Reader is gn and yeah that's pretty much it.

"Josie, I have been needing to speak to you for some time now." Armin says barely above a whisper.

"Yeah?" You ask.

"I- uhhh...." he trails off as he looks over your shoulder, his eyebrows furrow and then he chuckles nervously.

"I really enjoy seeing you around....and..." he trails off again.

"Uhh...Armin?" you say trying to catch his attention.

Successful, he looks at you wide eyed. "I'm sorry! I don't mean to be so awkward! I didn't mean to waste your time! Goodbye!" he spins around but you catch his sleeve and pull him back before he can take a full step.

"It's okay, Armin, talk to me." you laugh lightly. A tint of bright red rushes over his face as he chuckles.

"Umm. Would you like to sit with me during lunch?" he smiles hopefully.

Your entire world lights up as you smile brightly.

"Yes!" It was really no big deal, at least not to anyone else. But to you it felt like all Titans had been slaughtered and extinct.

You wrap your arms around him and hug him tightly before letting go and running off.

"See you at lunch, Armin!" You wave.
